Bag retaining ring is terrible design. Should have easily made top of can a little smaller in diameter to accept 18 gallon bag and did away with the ring all together. You have to stretch bag over ring and work it off to free a bag. Ring broke within a year $25 to replace

I highly recommend purchasing a Geek Squad Protection plan for this unit. I've gone through two of these in the last three years. The automatic opening mechanism wore out both times.
I keep coming back to this particular model due to its large bin and ease of operation. I wish it came with a power cord but I can easily get a few months of use on battery power.

Like it. Use rechargeable batteries. Takes awhile to get use it as you walk by and it opens .. have ran into issue for 18 gallon bags that fit without stretching. 20 gallon bags work too.

I can't say enough about how much I like this trash can. I had an iTouchless Trash can that was tall and every time I tried puling the garbage out, the bag would tear. With this trash can, the bag lifts straight out with no problems or tears. I love it and would love to have the 24 gallon, however it was out of stock. I may order another one of the 18-gallon. It has wheels and will roll where you need it. I did order the plug in cord so I would not need to insert batteries. That worked out great.

I will never get a regular trash can again. This one is perfect and you never have to lift the lid.
