Tried it with a 13" Dell XPS 2 in 1 and got a message that it was not sufficiently charging the laptop.

Sure it'll charge your iphone, but it's not powerful enough to sync anything from phone to computer.... would've been nice to know that BEFORE I bought it

This item is a great complement to my Samsung Galaxy Book 10. Also will work on my note 8 as well. The pass thru charging with a USB C charger does not work for fast charging.

I bought this with a Lenovo Yoga 910 and was bummed that I couldn't use it to extend the power adapter and charge the laptop, but that was a problem with the laptop. I traded the Lenovo in for an HP Spectre x360 and I'm able to use this adapter to charge the laptop, project/extend the display, and it adds two USB 3.0 ports. Exactly what I needed.

this has saved the need to purchase several plugs. with new computer there seem to be less ports, so in order to plug in more than two items and charge at the same time, you are required to have plug adapters. this one solved several plug issues and seems to be working well.

This hub, hdmi and ethernet adapter works perfectly. Not one issue. The size is small enough to fit in a suit pocket. The only complaint, and it has no adverse affect on the device or laptop, is that my HP Spectre laptop complains that the charging unit is not HP (which it is) when plugged through the device.

My company gave me a 2n1 tablet to use but they do not have WiFi so this was the solution. It does a great job for the most part. The only issue I've had is there isn't enough power to keep my tablet fully charged throughout the day if I'm using the web a lot. But after 10 hours of use in a day I might be down to 45% life which is good enough.

I purchased this when I was on a business trip and needed to have something that charged my iPhone and IPad. Because this has the network port and two USB ports, I thought it was overkill, but got it anyway. This thing will actually charge your iPhone just fine - but will NOT charge your iPad. So instead of one device, I ended up having to charge my iPhone on this, and my iPad via electrical outlet. I wouldn't buy this if you need to charge more than one device.

    Needs Improvement

First and for most I know there are many other adapters I could of bought but I bought this one as a starter. This adapter its built with solid aluminum and it feels premium. the 2 usb 3 ports are nice to add functionality to my new MacBook Pro 13 inch no touch bar. I like how this device can charge your Mac and still use the ports available. Here is what gets me aggravated you can't use the USB ports while the HDMI is plugged in. I also could not get the ethernet working at all even with the latest driver from the vendors website. If there is a second revision for this product I would definitely like to see that the USB ports can be used while everything is plugged into it because for this being a "Hub" I would expect for the device to be able to handle this. Especially since all the major tech manufactures are posting one port for all your needs. While this device is a necessity with the new Macs I would definately look for another model or something else other than this. For the price point I expected more out of this device. When you are using this device to charge your Mac and use it as a USB hub it can get a little warm to the touch. While you are using the HDMI and charging it will get quite warm as well but no where near as warm as the USB and charge. For the design of this product I would of liked to see a removable cable for greater portability. The functionality is a bit to be desired for it will not work if all devices are connected such as the USB and HDMI. overall this product has a specific audience in mind and for me this works for the basics of what I would want to use. if I wanted to use my usb mouse and keyboard I guess I can always go bluetooth.

Hub Works Great minus one major flaw

The Hub is fast and sleek everything functions as intended except for one major flaw. Your instructed upon taking it out the box that if your a mac user you must download and install the updated firmware and drivers. This is a breeze and no problem to do. I gladly did this. I then followed the instructions for updating the charge throughs firmware to the letter. Upon plugging in the charge through zap! Saftey shut down on my brand new macbook pro. I unplugged and did the firmware upgrade again. Device pluged into the computer with no usb c power cable in click and it stats its successful. Plug it in and its charging but now I notice my computer is starting to slow. Simple functions are taking longer then normal and as a test I take out the usb c charger pass through and sure enough. Everything is back to normal. I fear out of prolonged use you could actually fry your $3000 computers logic board. That is simply not worth the risk and I will be returning this device asap.
