When it comes to display adapters, I typically go that route compared to the lower end brands. I had to grab one of these for a client that wanted to dual monitor two HDMI monitors on a 2xDP 1xHDMI Dell dock. Worked great, resolution worked great, no loss of quality

4K HDMI to DisplayPort cable

Many of the HDMI to DisplayPort adapters I found only worked up to FHD, not 4k.
