    I did connect my new docking station my existing monitor via this cable that has display port to the deck and hdmi to the monitor. Works fine.

    Lenovo Tiny to a second monitor with HDMI, and the Lenovo had one HDMI and two DP connectors. Worked perfectly... just plug in and ready.
