No problem running 3440 x 1440 at 165 hz. Not many hubs support that. You just need usb 3.2 out to use this hub.

The host device must support Multi-Stream Transport (MST) and DisplayPort 1.4 to achieve triple-monitor configuration. A host laptop without MST support can only connect to one additional monitor. The MST protocol is not currently supported by macOS. The display output is limited to mirrored mode when connected. j5create

Only 1 extra monitor for Apple products...

2 stars due to description being unclear. Bought this to use 2+ monitors on my Apple M1 Mac but this device uses MST which Apple DOES NOT support at all. So if you use this on any Apple device, you only get ONE external monitor. So the extra HDMI and Display port are useless on apple products. The description should make this more clear.

Bought to use with a laptop but it wouldn’t work with the DP or HDMI about 50% of the time. That is with 100w of power to the hub. Would frequently drop USB connections as well. Now when I use it I only have a couple things plugged in and it works okay.

I apologize for the experience you have had with your 4K60 Elite USB-C Triple-Monitor 10Gbps Mini Dock. The hub is compatible with a wide range of USB devices, however some USB devices draw a lot of power which may have caused other devices to not work. Got this for the ability to connect my Alienware laptop (w/rtx3080) to the AW3423DW monitor via Displayport. Laptop does not have the DP so this allowed me to use the Thunderbolt port to take full advantage (instead of using the HDMI 2.0 porta with their lower bandwidth)
