Posted .The 4K60 Elite USB-C Triple-Monitor Mini Dock is a plug-and-play device and does not require any software download or driver installation. Please note that dual or triple 4K display output requires a computer that supports Multi-Stream Transport (MST). macOS currently only supports one external display through USB-C or Thunderbolt.

Laptop does not have the DP so this allowed me to use the Thunderbolt port to take full advantage (instead of using the HDMI 2.0 porta with their lower bandwidth)

Posted .The 4K60 Elite USB-C Triple-Monitor 10Gbps Mini Dock does support an Ethernet port, but it does not work like a traditional Ethernet adapter by default on all systems, especially if your laptop does not natively support Ethernet over USB-C without the proper configuration.

That is with 100w of power to the hub. Would frequently drop USB connections as well. Now when I use it I only have a couple things plugged in and it works okay.

The hub is compatible with a wide range of USB devices, however some USB devices draw a lot of power which may have caused other devices to not work. Posted .The host device must support Multi-Stream Transport (MST) and DisplayPort 1.4 to achieve triple-monitor configuration. A host laptop without MST support can only connect to one additional monitor. The MST protocol is not currently supported by macOS. The display output is limited to mirrored mode when connected.
