This doesn't have a power supply, it uses the laptop power cord. The proper level doesn't reach the laptop which triggers a warning message. However it does work.

The dock gets very hot to the touch. It also ejects the SD external drive every time and the warning "Disk Ejected" shows on the screen. I would not buy another one.

Buyers should be made aware that this docking station requires that you have to use one of the ports to provide power to unit. So make sure you take that into account when determining how many ports you’ll need for your devices.

Disappointing product. I returned this item. It got very hot and did not deliver the power to efficiently charge my laptop.

Work great. Just realize you need an extra charger if you want to keep this plugged in to the wall, and keep your original laptop charger portable.

This is an expensive mini dock that works, but overheats. I would recommend using this in a well ventilated area or with a small fan connected to it.

Works as intended, no issues. Only thing is I wish is it had 1 more USB as there are only 2. 1 for wireless mouse & keyboard and a 1 for printer, so leaves out camera. Like the size as it’s small.

Great product!!! It has 2 HDMI ports that I use for my external monitors. It has 2 C ports one I use for the my track pad and the other port to charge my computer. It has 2 USB that is used for my keyboard and the other one for random uses. And it has an ethernet port is connected to my mesh system I purchased from Best Buy. It works great for all of my personal and business needs!!!

It wasnt great as u can get a dock cheaper these days on amazon with just as many ports and features tbh not saying it isnt good…just sayin it is waay over priced

Easy to use and extra ports are very handy. I ordered a second one for an AirBnB rental - it's perfect.

It gets pretty toasty (100*F with laser thermometer) and I have it standing vertically in a 3d printed stand that's open on all sides. Running (2) 1680 x 1050 displays, USB keyboard, and charging a laptop. Not sure what it would be like running this with more plugged in. The attached cable is kind of short but I bought a 3' USB-C extension cable from Cables 2 Go that's worked well. It does what I need it to do between a ThinkPad and a Dell laptop. I don't plan on returning it but with it running that hot I don't think I'd buy it again if it fails anytime soon. Take my product recommendation with a grain of salt.

Got these to add an additional monitor and Ethernet to a computer. Just plug and play, and it's ready to go. All ports worked fine and 1GB. It takes some watts from the power supply like all docks do if the power is routed through them. Can make the enough power not detected warning come on. But, it only takes a small bit and charged fine. Or, just don't power the computer through the device. Either way it works fine.

Excellent dock. I bought two of them. They work great as a ROG Ally dock. Multiple 4K monitors with your ROG Ally. It does get pretty hot, hence only 4 stars VS 5.
