J5 Mink Dock

I hooked up three monitors, a Display Port and two HDMI and it works wonderfully with the power supplied by my laptop. The color also matches my computer.

When I was using the display port in this dock, the screen would occasionally go black.

I use this mini dock to complete a triple monitor setup on a Dell XPS 13 laptop. Too bad the MacBook doesn't work so well; I still have to use the MacBook's HDMI port along with the dock to get a triple monitor setup.

Monitor only works when the power delivery USB-C port is not used, and then the USB-C connector gets dangerously (like blister causing) hot after a couple minutes and causes the computer to throw a warning. Not surprised Best Buy doesn’t allow TotalTech coverage, but maybe just stop selling this junk

Didn't Work for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unit was defective. Power pass thru from my laptop PS to the computer caused the dock to heat up. It shut off on one occasion. Unit did not provide charging power out of one USB C port. When I switched my phone from this port to the other C port. the phone did start charging, but my external monitor disconnected from the computer. The only option to reconnect was to reboot computer. I returned the defective unit and bought a Hyper 6 port dock, which has been working fine.
