For years my father and I have been searching for something that would allow us to watch our TV streaming channels and movies downloaded on tablet/phone. As long as the TV you are watching has a HDMI connection. You are GOLDEN. Easy to setup, easy to use.

I use for connecting my laptop to a hotel TV so I can sit away from the monitor. Easier then trying to carry a long HDMI cable.

For that I would give 3 stars. But you can buy a ROKU stick for 1/2 the price that does the same thing plus a whole lot more. Don't believe the Best Buy sales people. They don't know what they are talking about. They just want to make as big a sale a possible. Mine wanted me to buy two of these, One for the computer and one for the TV. It only plugs into the TV.

Network congestion
Interference from nearby wireless devices
Distance between the source and the display
We always recommend using the included dual-band antenna and keeping both devices within line-of-sight for best stability.
Less Expensive than OEM Connectors

The unit works great for my conference calls at work. Wireless is a huge bonus as I no longer have to be tethered to my display. Audio doesn't seem to transmit, but that may just be the nature of conference calls.

Sometimes it works great, but resetting the unit doesn't seem to fix it when it is acting up.
