Straightforward screencasting device

I plugged it in, switched to the correct HDMI port on the TV, and then an instruction screen displayed. Connecting to the wireless display using Windows 11 was straightforward. It then becomes a second display under Windows. I highly recommend this as a screencasting adapter.

However, many streaming apps block being casted from the phone onto the tv. So this device would not do what I wanted. I ended up getting a roku, which works perfectly for that. If you’re just wanting to show your phone screen on your tv for other things, this would work fine. It’s easy to use.

Ive tried others & nothing good came from those tries. My phone has a USB "C" type connection but NO video output thru it. I tried this.....AND THEN THE WORLD CHANGED! It's not difficult AT ALL. Do this & that & it was right as rain. It even works in my van without problem. Thanks J5.

Wasn't always obvious for Airplay but works. Connect J5 to your Wifi for updates, and J5 provides its own WIFI for Mac users to AirPlay, and pass through to your Wifi!

ScreenCast phone to tv hookup

So to watch any television we use this ScreenCast plug in and we can watch whatever we want from our phones. It's easy to connect to the TV and even easier to connect our phones. We definitely recommend this product.
