This product may be great for home use but not in an enterprise environment. I only need mirrorcast capability for displaying Dell laptops, this device offers more features (Airplay) which requires network connection and frowned upon on the enterprise environment.

My old TV had several more than the new one so HDMI ports were not an issue. However, after the purchase I found that I could wirelessly connect my computer to this new TV and didn't need the J5. Ended up returning as it really wasn't needed. Also didn't want to use an extra HDMI port for power or another adapter for power.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the screencast adapter. Some newer televisions come equipped with the ability to wirelessly receive video. This device is for those that are not manufactured with this capability.

I get so much better quality and no latency than just streaming onto the chromecast directly. Very easy to connect to and set up on any device

If Microsoft display adapter wasnt sold out i would oglf bought that instead. Actually I think i may return it and wait to get the Microsoft 4k wireless display adapter. Patience is key.

Not only would it lag with the YouTube videos, but when switching from 1 slide to another it would get stuck or the next image wouldn't fully load and look scrambled.

I was extremely surprised how effortless this was and the quality is second to none. Not only can you share the screen from your device to the TV, the sound playing on your device is also transmitted. Got this for my conference meetings with clients. Yes, you can connect to the internet and browse while also using the WIFI to broadcast to the TV. The device is powered by the USB of the TV. No need for a separate plug in adapter. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase being exactly what I needed.
