No hassles worked right out of the box. Form factor has a few inches of cable between the usb plug and the Ethernet hardware/jack - I prefer this to dongles that have all the weight of the gear hanging on the usb jack itself. Needed it quickly and price was right, picked it up at local retail store.

Just guessing is so that they can sell you extras like this . More of an issue with the computer itself and not the manufacturer of this item

I thought I was doomed to not be able to connect my computer via hard wire which is required for most remote working jobs. Works great! I love it! I am very pleased with the way this adapter works.

So, 5 stars sounds about right, right? RIGHT... I've been meaning to get one of these for my input limited tablet, and I just got lucky enough to wander into Best Buy while it was at a great price... Wham, blam, thank you ma'am!!

Not sure how Best Buy thinks u need 50 characters for such a simple product. I was concerned that there were no choices, since this was all that was available.

Posted .Proper functionality entails downloading and installing a driver. The driver is automatically downloaded when plugged in a network environment. If the automatic download does not start, please install the driver manually on the homepage.

For some of my work I prefer a cable connection rather than a wireless connection. This simple and cost effective adapter provides me with the cable connection and consequent increase in security that I desire. Very simple and economical.

I would always have to change the PC settings, essentially taking me "offline". Someone recommended this adapter, I tried it and it works great! Just as expected, I can keep my work PC online and then setup this adapter with whatever static IP I need to connect to my other devices. Simple and fast setup.
