This USB to Ethernet adapter did the job. I purshased a desktop computer online the seemed it would fit the bill. Problem was it had no HDMI connector and my internet had no ethernet connector....this was thw answer.

It's worked without any problems, so I'm very happy with it--might get another one for another chromebook.

Driver install was easy. Just put in the disk that comes with it and install like you would any other software. Once that's done it's just plug in and go!

Effective adapter

Now I get high speed on devices wherever they are and don't have to worry about crowded and slow bandwidth.

My laptop does not have an ethernet jack and trying to download the long video over Wi-Fi was taking forever, even though I have very fast Wi-Fi. I hooked this device up directly to my router and the video downloaded within minutes. I would recommend this to anybody who has a laptop without an ethernet jack and needs to download large files. One of the best devices I have purchased in a long time.
