The aluminum build is simple and sturdy and uses a standard ethernet port that has lights.

Small and Great Design

Microsoft's own branded offerings for the Book are large, ugly things that don't aesthetically match the Book's sleek brushed metal finish. The J5 looks beautiful with it and can be packed easily in the same carry bag.

Good, quality feel to it. Plug and play on Windows 10 so no setup needed. Does what it says it will do when a wired connection is needed and computer doesn't have a LAN port.

No intervention or driver disk needed. I recommend this to those that don't have an ethernet port on their device or if the one on your motherboard doesn't work.

My laptop has a built in ethernet with a fold-down connector that is dodgy and disconnects any time the laptop is moved. This unit has none of those problems. Installation is painless and operation dependable and simple.

Really like this adapter. Works well.

Had to quickly get the system back up and no time or order a PCI NIC card. Found this at Best Buy and was very easy to install and get the system back on the network. Would recommend having a few of these in an IT shop for those just in case situations. :)
