J5 works well, did not require any drivers (Win 8.1) and seems to have good speeds, although I have not done an official performance test on the adapter. It also looks great. My computer's internal Ethernet was was only 10/100 Mbps, so getting a Gigabit Ethernet connection should take more advantage of the newer broadband speeds. Been a couple months and seems to be still working . Just make sure if you are using a router, that it is also Gigabit too
