In a lot cases Wi-Fi works perfectly fine. Sometimes however you will need the stability and extra speed that a wired connection can provide. Great to hear that it was easy to set up and use.

I got this to connect my Lumia 950XL to Ethernet. Have been using this extensively for the last several weeks without a glitch - moreover, unlike the other adapters that I have from Apple, Plugable and Rankie - this one never heats up even after extended usage - it might be that it has a good metal casing dissipating the heat fast. Note: This adapter will not be recognised by by the iOS10 on iPhone or iPad - you will need the adapter from Apple for that.

Posted .The easiest way to add a 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet connection over USB. Unfortunately, this Ethernet Adapter will not work on IPhones or iPads. It requires an installation of a driver.
