I ended up using it on another computer that didn’t have an Ethernet port and worked really well. Didn’t have to setup any drivers, just showed up as new network card on my PC.

I kept getting knocked off of wifi on my laptop at work because of too much interference, but the wall ethernet outlet was too far from my desk. I called Best Buy and they emailed me a link to this product and a long ethernet cable as well. Both were cheap and I put them directly into my cart. The speed is fast, the software was easy to download to my Mac and the J5 allows me to work without getting knocked off the internet constantly by being hard wired at a comfortable distance from my desk. Best of all it's portable so I've taken to hotels on business travel. Thanks!

I needed an ethernet connection to prevent skipping and freezing up during the live feed. The cable is perfect one end is USB to connect with computer and the other end has the ethernet connection to WiFi router. Excellent quality highly recommend this product.
