In one I have this docking station for two 27" HP 27es monitors. I split up the peripherals (1TB Passport Ultra, 4 TB Easystore, LG BD-RE drive) with another USB 3.0 hub. My two monitors run fast enough for me, and my 'puter never hiccups with everything running.

Posted .A lot of low profile laptops do not have ports to connect monitors. This mini docking station is a great way to be able to use one USB port to connect to two external monitors.

Posted .JakeE, I value your feedback. Please rest assured the warm temperatures are normal while in use due to electricity passing through the dock. If you ever experience smoking, or really hot temperatures, please feel free to reach out to the support team and if still within the manufacture's 2 year warranty, we will gladly exchange it for you as it may be a defective device.

Gets the job done

Cons: connection USB end is short, only has two USBs, no external lights to indicate operation, either powered connection or USB plug to computer is loose, a little pricy at $80. All-in-all, works nicely getting the job done and is with a USB extension, connection is flawless.
