Is that it's not bulky and it is easy to attach. You don't have to have buy an extra outlet to attach it to your computer. Most of the time it's literally you have already

I tried this device out to link my PC, monitors and Xbox for streaming. As long as you have windows 10 this eliminates you having to have a capture device from Xbox to PC and will run less $$ then most of the high end capture devices. I did return it however to get one with two HDMI monitor outputs. In most cases that’s not necessary but I have several monitors pulled up so I can monitor various things while streaming. Great product and very easy to use.

I I am impressed by j5create products and customer service. This product is for a USB port. You can use this product to expand a USB port to support multiple connections. The customer service is good, but slow. The hours are: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time Monday through Friday, excluding holidays It would be great if these were expanded to include evening and weekend hours. I had to wait on hold for a while for them to answer, but once I did get somebody they didn't know what they were talking about. I did return this item because I wanted more functionality, that is, more connections than this model provided. I bought a different j5create model for my MacBook Pro with a USB-C connection.

I had just purchased a laptop with out a network port and did not want the larger docking station within our budget. We found this item had not only network port but 2 video output ( 1 HDMI 1 VGA) and still 2 USB ports. This has saved me many times and is very portable for business meetings. I even bought 2-4 more my wife and friends as gifts.

Hook a Tablet to an HD TV for homeschooling. great little portable setup that is cheap enough to not worry about but reliable enough for education.

I am a first year teacher and i have a 2017 laptop, along with a surface pro 7. I use this to hook up to the white board and teach my lessons. So far it hasnt failed me. It is my life saver so i can stray away from markers and what not. this is the future lol

This was incredibly easy to set up to link two monitors to our laptop while working from home. It was worth the price to use existing monitors rather than buying a desktop in a rush.

The was purchased for a Surface Pro (3?). I did as the instructions noted, and downloaded the latest drivers for the unit before plugging it in. Set up was simple and quick. There is one drawback to the unit...it NEEDS an external power source (not included) to work properly. Without its own power source, the mini dock did not run a wireless keyboard and mouse well. Once an external power source was plugged into it, it worked as it should (connecting a wireless keyboard and mouse to the Surface Pro, and ethernet).

Works well. Gets warm. Don't cover with anything. Needs to keep unencumbered.

Althought it is a bit pricey but worth your miney. You are paying for the quality. It is very easy to use and just plug and play. i tried buying a cheaper one with a diffrent brand inAmazon but the quality is not good so I need to return it. This is so easy to use and allow me to use two portable monitors that I can hook up to mt laptap.

Didn't work, but it was the laptop, not the port. The port itself was easy to set up, worked well. Overheated a lot, but a small fan on it kept it cooled. Laptop kept crashing tho.

Works great! I am able to have all of my equipment required for my job.

Allows me to continue to use an older monitor (VGA) with my new laptop. Also multiplies the UDB ports.

Easy to use. Attractive finish and very flexible and adaptable. Works graet and expands my ability to use devices and accessories with my computer.

I needed something that would allow me to swap between my work and home computer. My setup is 2 monitors and an ergonomic keyboard and mouse. I plugged the USB for the keyboard/mouse into the docking station, I also plugged the monitors into the docking station. Now I can use either computer and everything works without a problem.

This is great for older laptops or laptops that don't have usb C for the newer docking stations. Has just enough ports to run multiple monitors and makes it easy to keep the network cable from getting damaged from repeated use. Plug and play makes setup a breeze.

I love the small size. It does exactly what I needed it to do. Works perfectly and very compact.

Great product for any professional who does presentation

This unit adds great functionality to our latest laptops that no longer have many of the ports they once had. The MINI Docking Station allows you to connect your laptop or tablet to the outside world

Very cool device with all the ports needed. Would have rated higher, but issue using VGA monitor on Chromebook, but seems more of an issue with Chromebook than the docking station. Probably works perfectly with Windows laptop.
