Only giving it a 4 out of 5 stars because I bought it to connect via ethernet cable. My laptop had a driver go out that allowed it to connect to the internet but needed the internet to update the driver. Unfortunately, I did not notice my laptop did not have an ethernet cable port. This device saved me and allowed me to update my driver and I did keep in in case something else happened like this again. So the moral of the story is to make sure you have an ethernet cable port on your laptop before buying.

Easy to hook up. No need for an install disc. And to my surprise, it had a slot for an external monitor hookup because It turns out my new laptop did not! I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a docking station. It gives you extra USB slots as well.

If you have a surface pro & need ethernet & hdmi this is what you need. It also has 2 usb ports. I plugged this into the type-c port on my surface pro 7 & now I'm able to do everything. I ethernet for better upload speed when streaming. Use the usb port for my blue yeti mic for audio & hdmi to extend my display to a larger monitor.

Its good, works on pc. Connected mouse, headset/mic, ethernet cable and 2nd monitor just with the dock.

This meets the need for extra USB ports. My laptop, like many laptops now, does not have enough USB ports so this accessory does the job. It also makes it easy to connect and disconnect with just one plug.

I walked in to Best Buy, unsure of what I needed to link two monitors to my PC, for work purposes. I was greeted by a young lady who seemed quite knowledgeable, not only about linking the monitors, but about the best equipment to use. After listening to my needs, she walked me over to the location of the equipment that I needed and explained the differences between the various options. She also explained how I should use the products (how to set up the connections). When I arrived home, it took me only minutes to hook all my equipment up and everything works perfectly.

Since and easy to use. That Ethernet plug in is just amazin.

Overall very good and has lots of ports to plug into! I haven't had it super long but if a lot is plugged into it, I've noticed it heats up. Overall very happy

The j5create was the perfect addition. It gave me an Ethernet port, HDMI and VGA as well as 2 more USB ports for my MacBook. Downloaded the drivers and was up and running in minutes. Gave it to my daughter for college so I need to go get another one.

This docking station is very small yet very mighty. It allows you to add several devices including OLDER model flat screens. It is amazing enhancement to newer laptops which only have one USB port. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Small profile, big work. Can connect two screens along with my laptop.

The instructions said "plug and play". It wasn't quite that easy. Couldn't download the needed drivers. "Finally" contacted the company that made the mini dock. They were fantastic to work with. Resolved my problem in less than 24 hours. I am impressed with j5create!!!!

This was an effective and reasonably priced way to have 3 screens for my notebook computer and also increase the number of USB ports.

Works great and enjoy the size being c ompact. Makes easy to add monitors.

Need to connect. A monitor to work laptop, works great. Gets hot but has not created any issues. Only thinking that I might have bought one with more slots. But have not had any issues

very easy to use frees up space multiple ports. Beware you have to have your own power supply cord otherwise im very pleased.
