When it became difficult to find the Dell docking station model that I wanted for my Dell two-in-one Intel i7, I stumbled upon this gem on a shelf in BB. It didn't have every feature I was looking for when I decided on the Dell model, but at nearly half the price I figured I should give it a try. I wanted to connect two HP 27es monitors. Although it doesn't have multiple HDMI ports (only one) or a display port (none), it adds another serial video port. I run both of my monitors (one in HDMI, one in serial), PLUS a 1TB Passport for backups and a 4TB easystore for additional storage. I added a USB 3.0 hub for connection of my keyboard, wireless trackball, and external CD/DVD drive. Makes for an excellent temporary workstation when I am traveling on business.

One of the best purchases I have made so far. Thanks to this little docking station , I now have three screens to work from as well as my backup hard drive being connected. My laptop already comes with the capability of extending displays so I'm not sure if this docking station will extend or only mirror dual displays. The docking station itself gets hot, but I haven't had any trouble with it since I bought it. It's usually disconnected throughout the day anyway until the evening. Great Purchase.

This adapter works perfect for me because I have two monitors that I use for work have not had any problems I like the fact that it has several ports that I can attach my devices to also recommended it to a friend and they went out and bought one

got my two screens along with a laptop holder for my laptop itself as a third screen in this little Gadget allows me to definitely hook up all of the screens together along with a few extra USB ports for other items

I use this for my Dual Monitors at home and it works Perfectly!!!

The multiple ports on this adapter makes it easier to use computer & charge phone.

This works perfectly! Installation was a little tricky on my 2017 MacBook Air, but the geek squad helped with that!

Very easy to plug and play two monitors to your laptop.

Seems to be working great only thing I see that needs to be addressed is vga cable plug needs cable support to hold it attached to dock

4 1/2 months after I bought this product, the usb port materials broke off into my attached printer cable. Before moving my desk to another part of the house, I unplugged laptop peripherals, and the blue guide plastic on the one usb port I was using in the j5 broke off into the transfer cable from my printer. I had to dig the crappy blue plastic junk out of the connector cord with my knife. I still plan to use this j5 dock for connecting a hard line from my modem (got nothing else to use at the moment), but will now route my printer through the Anker dock that connects my other usb peripherals (keyboard and mouse) and works flawlessly. Dunno if I could still return this dock even if I found my receipt, but this is the kind of money that warrants my digging around a bit for it, just in case.

Good combo of ports but defective VGA port. I tried 2 units but with the same defect from factory.

I bought this to connect my PC and MAC to external display and it works as expected. I had to download the latest drivers and on the Mac the driver got blocked from loading by security settings. Had to allow it to load from security setting and then worked. On few occasion it glitched and I had to disconnect and reconnect. Works well and is compact. Will heat up a bit during operation.

I have a 2016 laptop with three USB 3.0 ports and one HDMI port. I use the HDMI port for a 32-inch monitor, but I have a second 32-inch monitor that I couldn't connect -- until now. I'm using all three USB ports on the laptop, but I temporarily unplugged one USB device to plug the mini dock in, and then I plugged the third USB device into the mini dock USB port. The device works! Then I plugged my second monitor into the mini dock HDMI port. Video came right up, does not seem sluggish or anything, and I didn't even have to do anything to set it up or configure it. It just worked. So now I have both 32-inch monitors working on my laptop. Perfect!

Bougy this for my new Lenovo. Plug and play, no instal required except, just plug into the USB port. Used for a printer I was having trouble with and it worked perfectly. Worth the purchase.

So far, the device has performed pretty well. The only two downsides that I experienced were that it (the dock) will run noticeably warm to kind of hot at times and what I mistakenly thought was a USB C port near the dongle was actually a USB A micro. Other than that, it does what I need to to.

Lightweight and compact. Driver was easy to install. A bit more than I wanted to spend, but I am happy with the performance. I use to connect to an external monitor and mouse for my work tablet.

We purchased the USB 3.0 Mini docking station for home use now that my wife is working from home. Set up time was rather quickly with little issues. We did download the drivers as recommended from their website instead of using the provided CD just to make sure we had the latest drivers. It took a restart to make sure all the new drivers took and then configured the monitors so that we could have extended monitors. I would of liked it even better if you were provided with two HDMI outputs instead of one HDMI and one VGA. You can see a slight difference in the video quality if you do side by side comparison but it is not enough to were it will annoying if you are not paying attention to it. For the cost, it is a very good buy.
