Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this adapter for just one reason- to use USB A Thumb drives or Logitech wireless keyboard dongles on a Samsung Tab A 8.0 (2017) tablet housed in a Rugged Shell case. I had a narrow USB C slot that was covers by a flap that needed this narrow adapter's connector to seat just right to make a proper connection. It works just fine!

It works really well and is priced good. I always have this one plugged in for my iPhone but have used a USB drive with it. Good for the price and I would recommend it with a touchbar MacBook purchase. You will definitely need it!

Some devices, and some adapters don't play well, I've heard. This one just seems to work. Hard drives, Bluray drives, SDR radios, they all work. I'd be lost without this adapter.

This device allows me to attach such devices when previously my devices were useless. Thank you, again, Best Buy for selling scuh quality products.

Best way to keep using "old" USB devices

This adapter is a clean and necessary solution. Very happy with it.

It's a good size and plugs in easily at either end.

I work with a nonprofit and do not need their data on my computer but find it easy to use in meetings and share reports from another computer.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a very handy adapter that works very well to use USB flash drives and hard drives with our Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Note 9, and Note 10+ cell phones. It's better than the one that comes with the Samsung phones because of it's narrow USB Type-C plug, that can plug in, even when using the Otterbox Defender case. The Samsung adapter is too wide, and you must remove the phone from it's case to use it. So I'm very happy with it. I haven't tried it yet with the iPad Pro with Type-C connector, so I'm not sure if it works. I'm getting the iPad Pro in a couple weeks and I'm hoping it will work as well as it has with my Android phones, and believe it will.

When plugged into the dual charger in the lighter port, both headset and phone are in the charge and operating mode.

The type-C flash drive connectors on my Lenovo Yoga 910 is, I understand, the way of the future. No problems experienced!

That makes this adapter a must-have. Hard to find any accessories for new USB-C connectors. So much is still standard USB, This adapter is thus invaluable!
