Great little port expander!

Because it uses DisplayLink, I just made sure the DisplayLink app was installed from the Microsoft app store and it all worked right away. Nice, slim design with plenty of ports (INCLUDING DUAL HDMI) for most user types.

Nominal, hot as a pistol, at twice the price!

It runs hot as a pistol, which is not my experience for the cheaper docks. The specs are pretty lame, only one 4K port, the other operates at 1K; I wouldn't mind having 2 2K ports.

Great Fit With My HP 1035i Laptop

I now have 2 external monitors connected to my laptop. One monitor is a 27" gaming monitor and the other is a 24" office monitor. It's nice to have the extra screens. I originally bought a different J5create docking station which was not compatible with my HP 1035i Laptop. Tech support guided me to this item.

It connects my laptop to two monitors and my mouse and keyboard. However, I've noticed an issue, and I'm not sure if it is my laptop or the dock. The screens appearing on my monitors appear on my laptop screen and my monitors briefly go dark before returning.

This handy little guy helps me dock my laptop so that I can use large monitors and a nice keyboard and mouse. Very important for me at my age! :-) The Geek Squad helped me choose the appropriate mini dock for my set up.
