Good mini-dock if you need all its capabilities

I got it mainly for the ethernet connection because I thought it would be much faster than wireless. Turns out that is not the case and I can't tell any real difference between wired and wireless. Everything works well on it and no complaints.

It's simple and easy set up makes it very attractive to many. Mac Users - Wait for Firmware Update
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the new Macbook Pro, and I bought this dongle because I could use it with my laptop on top of the case I had (I bought the HyperDrive USB C adapter but it had to be flushed with the laptop, something I could not do with a case on the laptop). There is a notice to install the firmware before plugging in the cord. After installing the update, I plugged in the adapter and the HDMI port that I desperately needed did not work. Eventually, I found out that the most current MacOS cannot support this device. I had to return this adapter. Bought the OEM apple adapter with HDMI, USB and USB-C port and it worked to my liking. I suggest sucking it up and getting the Apple adapter.

A little bit pricey but no one wants a cheap slow internet connection! Recommend this YES in fact ... I bought a second one after seeing how well this worked CROSS platform... Mac and PC.
