On one, the HDMI port died, on the other, one of the USB-A ports quit. Bothe we’re 2 years old. So far, this one is fine, although I would like to have at least one USB-C port. Ethernet connectivity on all,3 docks has been good.

I’m glad that you are satisfied with the USB-C mini docking station. It does not require a separate power supply. However if your computer can be charged through a USB-C port you can connect a USB-C charger to the dock to power your laptop. I hope that you have a great day.

The adapter also began to overheat once more than 2 devices were connected to it simultaneously. My external hard drive failed and data was completely erased after I connected it to this adapter.

Not for Mac’s M1 pro chip

It doesn’t read the HDMI port and trying to look for a driver online to see if it’s compatible is nearly impossible.
