Followed the instructions and it simply does not work. J5Create normally has good products, but this one is just not ready for production. I will probably return it for a refund.

Fine at first, disconnects now

It worked perfectly at first but now it won’t stay connected to my MacBook. It will connect then disconnect and connect again. I hardly move the cord and only plug it up to my laptop when I am at a desk.

Posted .Reset the networking hardware, i.e. power-cycle the modem, router. Power-off your networking hardware for approximately 30 seconds then power it back on. Cross-test the device with another Ethernet cable, or connect the Ethernet cable into another RJ45 port on the networking hardware. Posted .Proper functionality entails downloading and installing a driver on a Windows or Mac platform. Depending on the OS you have, different instructions apply and if you could please contact our support team, a specialist will be more than happy to lend a helping hand

When using one 4K monitor with the JCD381 you will be able to get the full resolution output. However you will be limited to 1080p when using two monitors with the dock. We appreciate your feedback.
