j5create does it again, this product works well and with no fuss. Ethernet is gigabit (1000mbps) and the length of the USB-C cable makes it easy to scoot around. I'm a little disappointed by the amount of USB ports on this device, but considering other products with more USB ports work less reliably, it might be for a reason. Plug and play with this product, and it's excellent.

I used this with a Lenovo Yoga 720. I haven't run this device fully through the paces yet, but haven't run into any problems yet, I use it for connecting an external monitor, and for that, the power it receives from the computer is fine, but it seems from other reviews that if you want to to use more than one function at a time with this, you have to find another power source (which it doesn't come with). So if, for example, you wanted to use an external monitor andthe usb connections, you would need to plug into a USB-C power source that you buy separately. At the writing of this review, these are not readily available at a cheap price. I feel that if they are going to advertise it as doing a bunch of stuff,then it should come with all the parts to do so, so I took it down a star.

The product is super cool and it works as expected.

This device works great to connect to my Microsoft tablet. I can transfer data to a usb drive and connect a cat 5 cable to download data and updates faster than over wifi.

Sleek, study. Serves the purpose well. Excellent option for students w/chromooks. Supports connecting to monitor; wireless keyboard and mouse. Also works with game systems to monitor. Only good w/ type c , plenty of USB ports . Even charges. Just wish it worked w/ cell phone.

Portable, lightweight, and does the job. Note that for HDMI and USB, it's plug-and-play; for the Ethernet, you need to do some driver pre-loading from the j5create website first. In spite of the instructions, I'd recommend calling the j5create customer service - it's just easier that way.

It gave me the extra ports needed while traveling. Great for quick connections when giving presentations on the go.

I am able to use a wired usb mouse & keyboard, Monitor hooked up through an HDMI cable and my ethernet connection all into my laptops USB-C connection without any issues so far. Very convenient, allows me to hook up my laptop and use like a desktop very easy.

This works well, particularly for the super slim laptops (like Lenovo or Surface Pro) that have limited external port. On the expensive side, but I have two and both work very well.

After purchasing a new MacBook Pro 15" with toucher I needed a way to connect my "pro" device to a mouse, keyboard and monitor. Sadly, the computer only came with USB-C ports so I checked out J5 Create's option. It took a bit of work as you must download the latest firmware for the adaptor to fully work, but I get clear pictures on my IPS monitor and quick ethernet connections. Because the ethernet hardware is outside the laptop, the mac address for my ethernet connection is static to the device, so I have one of these at work and one at home. Should I swap them by mistake, I would loose my security overrides at work. This is something to keep in mind if using for a dedicated IP assignment and you loose the device.

Bought this to go with my Mac so I could have extra USB ports and HDMI outlet. Works well only thing I notice is it does seem to get a little warm to the touch but hasn't seemed to affect the use of it.

This was a good option for extending the USB ports on my new Lenovo Yoga 910 laptop. Does what I need it to do so that I can charge and still have USB port to charge my phone and keep the dedicated USB port for the USB mouse. It is also nice to have HDMI adapter with this. It would be even better if it weren't so expensive!

Husband uses this all the time. Really seems to love it. Great for taking anywhere. I can say he would recommend it.

This hub, hdmi and ethernet adapter works perfectly. Not one issue. The size is small enough to fit in a suit pocket. The only complaint, and it has no adverse affect on the device or laptop, is that my HP Spectre laptop complains that the charging unit is not HP (which it is) when plugged through the device.

I used this as a travel adapter for my Surface Book 2, while it works great, it wont drive my 4k monitors at 60hz where ever I'm at. Recently upgraded my monitor setup to a single Vizio P55-F1 monitor and it will only do 4k @ 30hz which while not terrible, makes things just a little too slow for my tastes. If you have WQHD moditors 3840x1440 etc. It's works great, but anything higher seems to lock down at 30hz. Ethernet speeds are full gigabit with no slowdowns, and the USB ports perform as expected. This does support pass through USB-C charging, but typically I use my power brick regardless due to the higher end nature of my laptops that I own.

Was looking for an USB-C to HDMI converter so my wife could display her lesson on the room's TV screen. This mult=port adaptor not only did the job but provides multiple connections for other needs.

When I was trying to figure out how to watch internet movies through my computer, this little device was the solution that I found and it really works great! Is super easy to use and also lets me connect my computer to the internet without using Wifi.

I got this as my new Lenovo Yoga only has 2 USB ports and I have multiple devices that I like to plug in at once - It was a needed accessory and works well for what it is.
