It does a great job, is nice and small, doesn't require drivers assuming Windows 10 and a compatible USB-C laptop.

Works Awesome with my HP! Awesome Multi-functional Adapter! Ideal for the hard-line/ direct line user that's doesn't trust WIFI anything, or uses limited WIFI or those that have no WIFI available at location. It plugs in the type C port allowing the limited USB 3 ports on my HP to be still available for my other things , PLUS this adapter has addition USB type C ports for additional accessories should I need to add more!

I bought this for my 2016 MacBook Pro. It is used at my desk at work where my Cat5, HDMI, USB devices and MBP power cable stay permanently plugged in. One out of 5 times, when powering on, or waking the MBP from sleep, the second display isn't recognized and will not wake up. Removing and reinserting the HDMI fixes the issue. Hopefully a future driver update fixes this. Other than that, the cord could be a little longer, and it does get quite warm while in use.

My new laptop was too sophisticated to power either of my cooling mats. Since I am a power user, the laptop requires their use. My laptop would recognize this mini-hub which in turn allows me to power things and connect things to my laptop's Thunderbolt 4 that I would otherwise be unable to use.

My HP laptop software returns an error message that only approved HP charging cords are recommended. However this dongle works just fine to add two USB ports and an HDMI connector to my laptop. I am able to connect an external drive and a BluRay drive while charging my laptop via one of its two C connector ports. I have not attempted to connect my laptop to an external HDMI monitor or television...but if I have the need or an opportunity I'll give it a go.

I had just purchased a new laptop. My problem was that I wanted two monitors and a wired ethernet port. The laptop had one HDMI port. This adapter gave me a second HDMI port and the hardwired ethernet port both... It just takes up one USB port. It's like magic!!!

bought the lenovo yoga laptop and though the laptop is amazing, it is also lacking in ports. this amazing laptop only has 2 usbs and 1 micro/c port. the j3create is a MUST for any laptop lacking in ports. this adapter is a lifesavor and works like a docking station to my wicked awesome laptop

Needed to be able to connect my HP work laptop to ethernet in a different room and without having to also bring along the "dock" that comes with the laptop. A USB-C adapter such as this one seemed like a good idea, It worked right out of the box, without having to install additional drivers on an HP ELITEBOOK running Windows 10. Just for grins, I thought I'd try it on a MacBook Pro running macOS Big Sur. Again, it just worked without loading anything else. I'm very happy with this adapter.

This was easy to connect and the extra ports on the side of the hub have been handy to use when I need to plug in a flash drive. Good value.

Great little docking station for my wife, compact but still gets to job done. Perfect for the minimalist telework solution.

This is a must have addition, especially when you are going mobile. The ability to connect to legacy or additional peripherals is a must. This gets the job done in a neat, attractive package.

This item is very good for today's computers because most of them do not come with these ports anymore. This item accommodates that. It is very easy to use. Simply attach and plug in the desired port for use.Just that simple. I would recommend this item.

Have a 2016 dell xps13. Needed ability to plug in ethernet port and wanted hdmi port. Didn't have time to buy official Dell version and took a chance on this. Works very well.. no issues

This device makes very easy hooking up to the television. Reduces the amount of wires needed to do thiat. It is compact and light for carrying in my back pack. Like it very much

I purchased a Lenovo - Yoga 720 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive - Platinum to use as a desktop and laptop In addition to purchasing the Yoga 720 I also invested in a j5create - 2-Port USB 3.0 Hub with HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet USB Type-C Adapter – Silver Model: JCA374 SKU: 5602501, which allows for one plug cable into the USB-C type connector on the Yoga 720 for hardwire internet access, remote display, power cord connection and 2 USB ports for either the: LG - 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive Model: SP80NB80 SKU: 5852919 WD - easystore® 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive Model: WDBKUZ0040BBK-WESN SKU: 5792405 USB Thumb drives and/or Garmin Express smart watch computer interface I also interface a Logitech - MK530 Advanced Wireless Keyboard and Optical Mouse Model: 920-008002 SKU: 5106401 with the Yoga 2-1 and tried it with the a j5create - 2-Port USB 3.0 Hub however found that there were times when the key board and/or mouse inputs would experience a time lag so instead of plugging the wireless receiver into the hub I plug it directly into the Yoga 720 which solved the time lag problem. I gave the j5create - 2-Port USB 3.0 Hub 4 stars for that reason but to be perfectly honest I’m not total sure it is the Hub or the USB-C connection in the Yoga 720 that is the cause of the wireless input delays that I have experienced. Either way no big problem I am please with my j5create - 2-Port USB 3.0 Hub purchase.

one device to manage several....great idea and works well. i only have to carry around one device and i can also charge my other devices while working. a little pricey but worth it.

This was recommended by the salesperson for use with a new 2017 MacBook pro 15". Using it for dual monitors in conjunction with the apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter. It worked great, then it didn't. Had to update the drivers http://www.j5create.com/support.html#JCA374 About a week later, it stopped working again. updating the drivers once more fixed the problem. Works well as long as you keep the drivers up to date.
