I’ll leave that up for you to figure out if you happen to buy this. This is my second one and the other one shorted out at the actual USB-C port that plugs into the laptop itself. I’ve only had this one a short time so I have not had this issue yet however I found that when plugged in the power USB port that is built into the adapter does not charge the laptop. In fact, the laptop dies slowly as it is plugged in, which is not something I expected. I can be useful for a short term use, and I also found a use for it with my microSD card as far as saving files onto it and plugging it in and being able to use it in that manner, I have not tried the HDMI port, but I do plan on using it soon, and other than that, it’s really up in the air to purchase it. There are other brands that I haven’t even tried that. I would likely suggest before. I would suggest someone purchased this one. I just grabbed it because it was one of the only ones available that supposedly did everything that it said it did and the sales guy pretty much shoved it down my throat, even though I had one prior.

NIce USB Port Extender

Since my PC has limited number of USB ports, this unit provides an additional 2 USB-C ports for me to plug in additional accessories.

For some reason the product doesn’t allow my computer to charge as it should. I wanted to select poor but my finger missed and selected good. The product isn’t worth the money I paid
