This adapter is just what was needed to increase the utilization of my new Galaxy Pro laptop. It allows the use of two screens and a separate keyboard and a SD card reader. A DVD player can also use the hdmi port.

works right from plugging it in. no issues at all. i have several for different computers and they all acted exactly the same.

I have only used it a few times. One time it just wouldn't cooperate with my computer. Not bad, not great, i got what I paid for.

A lot of the connectors do not function as you would believe they do. I’ll leave that up for you to figure out if you happen to buy this. This is my second one and the other one shorted out at the actual USB-C port that plugs into the laptop itself. I’ve only had this one a short time so I have not had this issue yet however I found that when plugged in the power USB port that is built into the adapter does not charge the laptop. In fact, the laptop dies slowly as it is plugged in, which is not something I expected. I can be useful for a short term use, and I also found a use for it with my microSD card as far as saving files onto it and plugging it in and being able to use it in that manner, I have not tried the HDMI port, but I do plan on using it soon, and other than that, it’s really up in the air to purchase it. There are other brands that I haven’t even tried that. I would likely suggest before. I would suggest someone purchased this one. I just grabbed it because it was one of the only ones available that supposedly did everything that it said it did and the sales guy pretty much shoved it down my throat, even though I had one prior.
