Within minutes she had it connected and a keyboard & mouse and everything has worked without even a momentary pause. Easily the smoothest USB-C docking experience that we've had which is saying a lot because due to my work I've done troubleshooting for a wide array of device & dock/hub combinations. The only downside is that the cord could use to be about 6 inches longer so it lays flat when connected to the tablet.

Not only in terms of the connection, but the sound quality projected when connected to the speakers is outstanding.

My wife uses it to connect a MIDI keyboard to Garageband on her iPad and it works very well. She really likes the power passthrough so she can charge and tinker.
