Posted .The JCA152 is a USB-C to single HDMI adapter, so it can only support one external monitor. This device requires your laptop USB-C port to support USB-C Alt Mode (DisplayPort over USB-C) in order to output video to an HDMI display. If your laptop does not support video output through USB-C, this adapter will not be able to enable HDMI display, your device must support Alt Mode for the HDMI port to function.

It worked fine, just plugged it in. I did not know what to expect but was surprised at the small size of the image on the TV, roughly 11 x 14 on a 65 inch TV. Maybe there is a way to get the TV to display differently, I do not know.

Posted .Regarding the smaller image display on your TV, this is due to how iOS devices handle external displays. By default, iPhones often use a mirroring mode that does not scale to fill the entire TV screen, which can result in a smaller “boxed-in” image instead of a full widescreen view.
Some apps (like YouTube, Netflix, or Photos in slideshow mode) do support full-screen playback when casting or connected via HDMI, but not all apps will automatically scale. If your TV has a “Zoom,” “Aspect Ratio,” or “Screen Fit” setting in its picture menu, adjusting that may also help enlarge the display.
The adapter is functioning correctly, but the output sizing depends on your device and the app being used.

It does not work w/ ASUS Vivobook 15 regardless of what the Best Buy rep say. After much research online, it comes to the USB Type-C in ASUS Vivobook 15 do not have enough power to connect to a monitor via HDMI. I returned it a couple times w/ different model but it turns out, it was the USB-C. I found my old USB J5 w/ connector to HDMI to monitor and it works.

Does NOT work with iPhone 15 Pro

Dont buy this expecting it to work, it will not. It stretches the image weirdly and it doesnt give you any audio. Could be an iOS issue or an issue with the adapter, but either way im not impressed.
