I had dual operating systems installed on my Mac and I was having an issue hooking up to external monitors when using the Windows OS. I thought it might have been because I had to hook up my HDMI cord through the adapter. That was not the issue. Nevertheless, this cord works just fine otherwise and is easier than hooking up through that adapter.

I have the type and DP outlets on my computer but I can attach two monitors with this device and still get quality picture and signal. I have not tried to attach it from a mobile device to a television. I have only used it with my laptop and television and a monitor.

I tried many others, and they would not work properly (flicker / on-off on the monitor). I highly recommend this product!

This USB-C to HDMI conversion cable is plug and play. You however must use this cable with a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode. Great to hear that the cable is working out for you.

I needed a USB Type-C to HDMI Cable to transfer video and audio from my Samsung Tab S6 to my projector. I ended up using dual connection Bluetooth to two Amazon Echo Dots, left and right, for better sound. Our backyard projector movies are perfect now. 100% satisfied.
