Since Type C to Type C wasn't working I decided to give this cable a try and it worked with no setup. Very happy with my purchase. I would prefer a slightly more flexible cable as managing this one took about the same effort as a standard HDMI or DP cable.

Seeing as how I needed a functioning one for use the next evening, I looked online and saw this one, available and in stock. It worked flawlessly with no issues, unlike the cheaper version promoted by Amazon. I'm hoping that this will continue to work with my projector moving forward and suggest paying more in order to get a more functional unit rather than hoping that the cheaper one will do the job.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was recommended this by one a Best Buy employee, my alternative was going to be a Henge Dock that cost about $180 this saved me a ton, and works exactly the same with the exception of not having additional ports. It actually enables the Mac to operate in clamshell mode as well which I wasn’t expecting, so if you have a mouse and keyboard you’re able to use your laptop while it’s closed on another screen. It also worked perfectly with my widescreen monitor and displays everything clearly. Worth every penny, plug and play!
