Did Exactly what I wanted it to Do!

The switch required and HDMI connection. I used the two USB C cables to perform differnt tasks on each of the laptops. Everything finally worked and it allows me to jump out of my work PC when I am waiting for it to process, and catch up on persnal stuff. Could't have done it without these cables.

Perfect for streaming from phone

After speaking with a best buy employee he assured me this cord would work for streaming with no issues. He was correct and I have had no issues with streaming using the j5create cable. I live in the country and can not get wifi so this cable is great for me to watch things on my tv.

The Best Buy sales representative who was helping me told me that Apple has teamed with Belkin for cables they do not manufacture, so they recommend that brand on the Apple website. He said that the J5create cable, would work just as well. He was right. I also find it more convenient, since the Belkin had no length to it and this is a 6-foot cable.

It doesn't have pretty power delivery. It's not supposed to. I'm just saying that for who reads this review. I'm taking it back to get the same product with power delivery and an additional USB for the extra $10. But if you're minimalistic then this is the option for you.

It has a heavy-duty covering and the ends are well constructed to hold up to being plugged a lot over time. Not to mention there's even enough flexibility to get into the plugs behind a hotel TV. I use this cord and a wireless power bank to stream movies while not losing battery power. It's very easy to use, just plug into your phone and the HDMI on the TV then select the correct HDMI input on your TV and it mirrors the phone, you can play games also from your phone on the TV.

It advertises itself as being able to carry 4K signals, and it carries 4k@60! This helped my ThinkPad get to 4k@60 (HDMI 2.0) on external displays when the HDMI 1.4 port and an Apple USB-C to HDMI dongle could only get up to 4k@30.

Posted .The JCC153G is a great cable to connect a newer laptop with USB-C video ports to external displays. It is a direct connection so there are no clunky adapters. It is also good for mirroring tablets and smartphones with USB-C video to larger displays.
