Hoping it was plug and play but had to the instructions inside the box instead. Downloaded all the drivers it required and rebooted like 5 times. Didn’t work almost gave up completely till I finally messaged j5 online support chat. They gave me extra steps to do which was to go into security system to allow the j5 adapter to work. Followed their instructions and finally both my monitors work.

Great on windows

Before people comment about drivers I did download the driver online for Mac and it didn’t work. I had to do similar steps to get the second one to work and it has been working great!

3 External Monitors with MacBook Pro M1 Processor

I have a MacBook Pro with the new M1 processor. The Macbook pro M1 does not support 3 external monitors, or even 2 even dual monitors over a single USB-C Thunderbolt 3 protocol connection. This device is not Thunderbolt 3 so it works with the standard USB-C Protocol which the M1 processor does support more than one monitor. So 3 external monitors are possible! 2 with this device and another using another port. You must install an j5create driver. Note: Install the driver prior to plugging in the device follow the instructions to enable the driver.

A splitter is used to show the same thing on all monitors such as in a sports bar or at BestBuy's monitor display section. This adapter is super easy to install and works seamlessly. I didn't want to wait a week for Amazon to deliver one.

I had to lock the usb-c flap on securely. I love it I have my monitors all showing something different.
