Definitely recommend.

I ended up plugging one monitor into my desktop with an HDMI cord then using this item in a USB port for the other monitor. It did not work in four of my USB ports.

The adapter did not work straight out of the box. I went to the company website and discovered I needed to download drivers from their site. I didn’t want to take that chance, so I used it in my HP laptop. It started off great but HDMI ports kept going in and out. The 4K port worked fine.
