While it connects, it doesn't allow you to set your display to work vertically, which this products competitors can do on display link. Save the money and go for the cheaper, easier to connect DisplayLink instead. Waste of time and money.

Use it to get the website you need in order to download software. However once downloaded there is a ADDITIONAL set of instrctions for the “updated version.” That document states the steps you have to take. That one actually works my Macbook has the lastest os.
