I wanted a larger screen to work on and wanted to use a monitor to see better with my aging eyes. I needed this adapter for that purpose. It definitely gets the job done and is very easy to use. Great buy for me!

Works well with MacBook Pro M1

I had issues with the monitor detecting the laptop after unlocking it or waking it from sleep but disabling the input auto detect on the monitor and selecting HDMI input resolved the problem. Also works fine with my USB external hard drive.

Works Flawlessly, Even When Abused

I was not optimistic about its performance but was very pleasantly surprised. It has been working flawlessly for well over a year, even after taking some physical abuse.

I have a couple of TVs that are not smart but have HDMI ports. I can now watch things that I can get on my phone using the HDMI output to those TVs. One of which is on my treadmill.

After plugging the device into the laptop’s HDMI port, connecting the usb-c power cable to the laptop, then the laptop’s usb-c power cord into the device, instant detection of the two monitors as well as the laptop’s was flawless.

She runs 3 monitors, multiple usb plugs Bluetooth mouse keyboard etc etc She needed a docking station to plug everything in she needed, those are expensive. This is modestly priced and works perfect for her. Hdmi and a supers speed USB port plus type C port
