This met that requirement perfectly. I use it to both "dock" my work laptop(HP Z-Book), and my personal M2 Macbook Pro. This works perfectly and I have had no issues with either laptop. My daughter has also used this on her Nintendo Switch with no issues.

This TV is old and is not a smart TV. The adapter works great and now I can enjoy my tablet more with a bigger screen. Also you can charge the tablet at the same time. I recommend it.
