Great adapter for M1 MacBook Pro

You need an additional adapter to convert a display to a USB port (and one for HDMi if you don't have a direct HDMI display)

easy way to hook up your usb-c device to a tv

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this works great to hook up my computer or my ipad to my tv with a wired hdmi connection. i mostly use it to play content from my ipad on my tv. i simply leave it attached to the tv and just plug my ipad into it when i want to view my ipad on the tv. i use a usb-c charger plugged into it as well so my ipad stays charged while it is connected to the tv. the build quality seems very solid too.

When we don’t have internet service, I just download to my ipad and connect the HDMI to this connector. Works like a charm.
