I was using this with my HP Spectre for about 9-months. I did not load any drivers just plug-n-play. The HDMI would only do 60hz out of one and 30hz out of the other. The USB-C worked as expected and the card reader was fine. The USB-A worked as well. Now…I migrated over to the new Macbook Pro M-1 (w/ latest macOS Monterey) and things did not go as well. I initially ran it with only one monitor at 30hz because the other HDMI stopped working. I called J5 and they said that I needed to download the drivers…and that didn’t help!! So…for PC this dock is just okay but I think you could find a better setup for multiple monitors. For Mac products….I would probably avoid this one!!

Setup and operation going okay. Strip allows quicker and easier access to accessories without having to decipher wireless connections for easy individual accessory.

Everything works flawlessly. I'm running three displays and I havent had a problem yet. (1 week). Unfortunately i cannot charge my laptop through the power input on the dock. I was so disappointed, i was hoping for a single cable solution.

love this docking station. I use it all the time and it is nice to have multiple ports of each type in one spot.

Excellent dock for my Macbook Air. I bought this when we closed our offices last year and started working from home. I needed to stay connected to team members and suppliers from all over the US, Europe, UK and Australia. This dock allowed me to [mostly] recreate the capabilities we had at the office for video conferencing, multiple monitors, peripherals, etc. with only my laptop. I like the simplicity, it worked the first time out of the box, no issues ever. I also like the low profile design, it fits neatly under my Roost laptop stand and keeps cabling out of the way. I have needed to replicate this same office set up in several satellite locations in other cities - I bought this same dock for each one - it's just plug and play no matter what desk I happen to be working from.

I’ve only been using this docking station for a week, but I love it. It’s small and very portable, has Ethernet connection in addition to usb-c port, 3 usb 3 ports, 2 hdmi & dp ports and vga port. And it’s under $100!!!

Love the form factor and functionality of this dock station. It is not another brick standing on my desk. Instead, it subtly sits under my macbook and provides so many ports. Instructions were clear about downloading supporting software for multiple displays. Worked well out of the box with that simple instructions.

I purchased this item mainly to use as a "dock" for a dual monitor setup. Like many individuals I am now working remotely. It was easy to connect to the laptop and monitor. I also use it for the external Webcam and printer. This unit was affordable and definitely a great investment.

Makes it easy to “dock” and “undock” laptop from multiple cables. HDMI connection to external monitor worked as expected. VGA connection to external monitor did not work, so had to purchase a VGA to HDMI adapter cable. Everything else works as expected

I’m by no means a tech savvy kind of person at all, so when I purchased my laptop I had no idea how I was going to plug anything into it because it was all usb-c. So after googling I found i needed a dock and chose this one. This works like a charm and has enough ports for everything. I am about to purchase my second one for my new Chromebook.

Great docking station, no issues what so ever. I just wish the connecting cable was a little bit longer and one or two more USA-A ports and replace the display port with another HDMI port, other wise good station.

While I couldn't figure out how to get both monitors to work by using this docking station, even by following the instructions, I still like it. I have most of my cords plugged in.

I needed a docking station with a higher wattage for a newer laptop. This fits the bill. My previous dock had a Thunderbolt 3 "host" port providing 60 watts, which wasn't enough for my newer laptop. I have just 1 external monitor which works great so I can use my laptop monitor and my 2nd monitor all through the dock. I also like the design that allows my laptop to rest up on the dock, and provide a bit of air flow under the laptop.

Easy to set up, but does not pass thru the full charging power so you get an error message.

it worked with both our Dell and IBM models and loaded all drivers in windows 10 right away. the unit is sleek stylish and easily hideable and can be carried in a laptop bag with no problem! ill be recommending to our other associates shortly. DK

The docking station functions well. Able to route data from laptop and two monitors thru it without issue. Easy set up and no issues over the past month. Have not tried three monitors.

Super simple to use with my new MacBook pro. I have an external monitor, keyboard and a power source for my AirPods. I love the slim profile that I can set my laptop on for a nice angle for video calls.

This is for people who don't have enough ports on their PC, or don't have certain ports, such as a SD card reader slot. Make sure your PC has a USB-C port to use this. Has a built-in compartment to stow away the USB connecting cable for portability. Can be optionally powered with another USB-C cable.

Bottom Line: This product seems to be well made, with a variety of convenient ports and an intuitive design. However, it is unusable because it does not work. Additionally, the company's customer service is terrible. I will not buy from this brand again, and I'd caution you to do the same. Don't waste your time or money. Design: It seems to be well built and gives an impression of durability because of it's weight and size. The ports are spaced out well and the cable for the USB-c to plug in to your computer is an appropriate length. Function: This is where the product is completely unusable. When used to connect my laptop to a second screen, the image is distorted and low-resolution. I continued to have this problem when I connected to different screens, used different cables, and even when I tried with another laptop. I also was able to use a different product to connect my laptop to a second screen. In other words, there is no doubt that the problem is with this docking station, and it is therefore unusable. It would be nice if that was the only problem, but of course, it isn't. The 3.5 mm (1/8") audio port is also completely unusable. The audio volume is reduced by about 40%, which is annoying but I was able to work around it. However, the microphone volume is reduced by about 90%, making it completely unusable for voice or video calls. Again, I verified that this problem is with the docking station by trying with different combinations of products and only experienced an issue when I was using this j5create product. Customer Service: I contacted the company after experiencing these problems and was EXTREMELY disappointed by the service I received, especially after spending $110 for a product that does very little of what it was supposed to do. I emailed back and forth with someone who signed emails as David, but every time I received a stock, canned reply which often only tangentially related to my prior correspondence. Summary: I'd like to think this was just a lemon, and that the majority of the time, you'll receive a product that works. However, given my experience with their customer service, I'd say its not worth that risk - especially given that there are many other products out there that accomplish the same purpose but are from reputable brands. I now have a $110 piece of scrap metal, I've wasted hours going back-and-forth with customer service reinstalling drivers and answering the same question multiple times, and I'm just going to go out and buy a functioning docking station from Belkin, Targus, Lenovo, HP, or any other of the dozens of manufacturers that I can actually trust. BestBuy has several of these products available online, and I wish I had just spent the extra $10-$20 for a name brand the first time around and saved myself all this trouble. In any case, I've learned my lesson and won't bother with any j5create products in the future.

I like that I can use 2 external monitors plus my ThinkPad E16 Gen2 to have a 3-way display
