It works fine but he had moved from a computer that had a built in camera so he said it took up more space and showed a wider image than he was used to. In other words the teachers could probably see him doing gaming or checking his phone during class! The camera is clear and easy to use.

This camera was pretty much plug-n-play for my Windows 11 Pro machine. Works fine w Teams and Google Meet so far. I wouldn't hesitate buying it again if I need another one for a computer that didn't have a built-in camera.

The JVCU100 should have no problem attaching to something as thin as a piece of cardboard to something as large as a full sized flat screen TV. It can also be mounted on a standard camera tripod. I made an old 480p webcam work but was constantly looking to replace it. Being me I thought I needed the Logitech 4K camera but it was never in stock anywhere except those price gouging 3rd party types... no thanks. This one popped up as available and I figured since it was only a quarter of the price of the one I couldn't find that I would try it out. I am glad I did. The video quality is more than enough and in my well lit office the clarity was such an upgrade from my old camera that I was feeling like this was the best $50 I've ever spent. I tried a few various lighting configurations and the camera seemed to adjust well and still looked sharp. The camera also has a nice wide field of view. The folding clamp adjusted well to my monitor and it has a 1/4" thread mount on the bottom of the clamp if you wanted to mount that way. Overall, this camera really upped my zoom game... so much so that now I'm not thinking I don't need that 4K upgrade after all. If you're like me and still need a webcam, I think this one has great quality at a great price.
