Honestly they both work great. This was half the cost tho. I’ve not tested this in a lowlight setting but it works great so far. Sound quality, picture quality and ease of setup are all A+ Definitely recommend

This webcam has a lot of features that are not on most webcams. The webcam records at 1080p, it has low light enhancement, and a wide angle lens. It is good to hear that the webcam is getting the job done. We appreciate you taking the time to write up a review of the webcam.

Best Buy did have maybe a couple but they were not available or sold out at the time I wanted to purchase one. So I kept searching what was available with other Webcams with Best Buy. I clicked on the j5create USB Webcam with 360 degree Rotation - Black, read the Specifications & the Reviews. It has a 4.5 Rating and some of the reviews were pretty good. But some of the reviews were a bit negative because the microphone wasn't working very well and those who gave it a bad review of the microphone not working well either they purchased headphones with a microphone or just a microphone. Well the good news is the microphone on my j5create Webcam works 100% with no Problems! I am very satisfied with my j5create Webcam!

That means it seems to download the driver and brings my older computer to a halt for several minutes whenever I plug it in; A couple of times I've had to force a reboot because the computer froze. When it's playing well with the computer, though, it's fine.

The picture is clear and the mic has very good noise cancelling qualities. Using on a Windows 10 PC and there was nothing to do but plug it in. Windows saw it and loaded what it needed to.

An Easy to Use Camera with One Big Drawback

You just plug it into your computer (in my case a Mac) and it shows up as a video source in Zoom or whatever application accepts video sources. However there is a huuuuge drawback to its ease of use. Because there are no drivers to install, you are given no settings to control the camera. No exposure settings, focus settings, etc. Also, the product description lists the webcam as having a wide angle lens. It's pretty much a fish eye lens. It curves the edges of your frame and sort of morphs your face because of the fish eye lens setting. Again, you can't change this setting which is frustrating. Overall, this camera is a slight step up from the built in webcams on Macs or any other laptop. But I can't get past the fish eye lens look and therefore I will be returning it soon to hopefully find a Logitech webcam for sale.

Great Camera For First Timer

In this Covid age Zoom meetings are a necessity. This camera bring a nice clear picture to my screen. Very easy to install. Directions are simple. The method to attach to monitor could be improve.
