This works great for older laptops that don't have HDMI ports and only have VGA and USB ports. Easy to set up with only having to plug in to laptop and TV and you are good to go.

A tad bit pricey but the adapter was exactly what we needed to allow maximum flexibility in connecting our presentation projector

It worked as described. Connected an old server with a VGA out to a modern monitor with only hdmi in. There is a random flicker but I really think that's because i'm using an HDMI switch too. Like most of these adapters, it's way overpriced for a piece of plastic with a few wires and a tiny chip.

It's a cable, it does it's job. Just make sure the ends are what you need for your setup.

This "up converts" a VGA signal to HDMI for use with monitors that do not have a VGA input. The unit met all my expectations.

My laptop's monitor stopped working as did the HDMI port on my laptop! My laptop had a VGA port, but my monitor only had HDMI & PrPbY+L/R connectors. I researched many reviews on many different VGA to HDMI adapters, converters, cables, etc., & I came to the conclusion that one gets what they pay for & the j5create VGA to HDMI Adapter had many POSITIVE Reviews, so I took a chance & purchased it at Best But; it was the last one in store stock. I am do glad I made the purchase! Setup was straight forward, no drivers to download & everything worked perfectly. The images on my monitor are beautiful & the sound is lovely as well. Just remember this is a one-way conversion; VGA to HDMI, NOT HDMI to VGA. I have read some reviews from reviewers who did not realize that fact & gave the device a bad review. I highly recommend the j5create VGA to HDMI Adapter to anyone that needs to convert a VGA signal to HDMI.

I needed this for a high-end workstation that drives 6 - 60" tv's. The space is limited in the box so I can only fit a small video card (HDMI and VGA), this allowed me to get the signal to the TV over the VGA connection through the HDMI cable.

In a day where working from home is required and working on a single laptop screen is less than ideal, this little device is a miracle. Hooks right up to the laptop and TV with no issue and makes working from home much more convenient.

Most laptops today do not have a vga port. Our projector at work does not have HDMI. Got to be able to use the newer laptop with the older projector. This fit the need perfectly. Priced right and easy to put i my computer bag! Ready for all situations no, or at least I think I am .

I recently purchased a 4K monitor and as it is standard with most displays these days, it did not have a SVGA port. I needed to connect a older laptop running Ubuntu to this monitor and this VGA to HDMI adapter helped me d that effortlessly.

I got this for a windows computer that only supported vga and display port. This is a must if you’re trying to connect a second had monitor. The cheaper hdmi to vga doesn’t work, but this one does in that configuration. Worth every penny! No issues at all.

Product works great. Was in need of an adapter quickly for a presentation and this was the one available for pick up. You can probably find cheaper adapters but this was the one that was immediately available so it's the one I got, and I have no problems whatsoever with it.

Needed to add an additional monitor to my computer with working from home - this was the least expensive solution for me to hook up an old desk top monitor to my laptop so I could have two screens open.

Well i reed between few different adapters so i can conect my computer to my tv on hdmi at first look bigger than the tv screen had to disconnect and plug back in and works really amazing i can said online movies are more clear than dvd i love this thing

I was turning an old computer tower in to a retro gaming/media center and wanted to hook it up to my bigscreen TV. The tower only had VGA so I gave this a try. Works perfectly....zero complaints!

This worked perfectly for Lenovo laptop with VGA port to HDMI port projector. With the new type of projectors coming in market only with HDMI ports, and if you are using old laptops without HDMI which has only VGA port, this adapter works very well.

I'm using this as an adapter from my at-home work laptop docking station setup to one of my two 29" ultrawide monitors that doesn't have a VGA connection on it. This does a good job and fits the bill. The only hiccup on it seems to be that every now and then the screen will start to show a sort of cascading snow on it, at first for a very short time then getting longer in time before it blanks the screen...apparently resetting itself...then getting back to normal. Not a big deal as it's never actually failed outright or permanently but it otherwise seems to be the only weird thing that happens. Not sure if it's the adapter or maybe something with the docking station.

Works just as intended. I have a computer without an HDMI connection and all my new monitor had was HDMI. Went to Best Buy after Staples didn’t carry what I needed. Solved my problem No issues whatsoever. Product is perfect.
