Customers recognize the Wireless Display HDMI Extender as being easy to set up and use, with generally good picture quality. However, some users experienced inconsistencies in range and connection reliability, along with occasional lag. While many appreciate the extender's ability to transmit over distances, concerns were raised about the price and the product's long-term dependability.

I purchased this but had to return. I was transmitting video and audio from about 30 feet away as for some reason our home is not built with coax input in our living room. So instead of running a wire we had the cable box next to where the coax input is and wirelessly transmit the signal to the tv. We had an actiontech for years that worked fine but started to go out and wanted to try different options. This was one of the options we tried and unfortunately we noticed that picture quality dropped along with audio did not sync up perfectly. For what it is worth it was an okay transmitter with no stuttering or hiccups, but it couldn’t live up to what we had before. I’m sure it would have been better if it was closer and had a line of sight.

I needed to move my work table to the middle of the room but without using a long thick hdmi cable. Physical connection was easy but communication with the computer was slow. Lose communication ever so often while working and it takes too long to reconnect, frustrating!

Please check if there are any available updates for your computer through the manufacture of your computer's brand. You may also want to try and reconnecting (re-pair) the unit. Make sure the the devices are close to the point they are touching due to NFC.

It is very easy to set up. The set up instructions are clear. Also has an infrared TV remote extender. Everything worked right away. The two chassis are the right size to fit behind the TVs. I like the on screen status of the HDMI Extenders. It explains the current boot up status. If something is not right, I will tell you what is wrong.

Had an input delay when I connected it to my projector and unfortunately we couldn’t game the way we planned to do. Really nice if it didn’t lag.

Here are a few suggestions that might help mitigate the input lag. (1) Ensure that the wireless extender has a clear line of sight to the receiver. Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver as much as possible. Also, minimize any physical obstacles, such as walls or large objects, between the two devices. (2) Check for interference: Other wireless devices or electronic equipment operating on similar frequencies can cause interference and contribute to input lag. Try to identify and eliminate potential sources of interference, such as cordless phones, Wi-Fi routers, or Bluetooth devices. It's worth noting that wireless display technology, especially for gaming purposes, may still have inherent limitations and may not match the performance of a direct wired connection. If low-latency and minimal input lag are essential for your gaming experience, a wired solution may be the most reliable option. Thank you.

Had an issue where the HDMI connector broke off on a cable run behind the wall. Did some research and this was the best option. Very simple to hook up, plug and play - it seems like it would have some good distance. It was nice for a wall mount TV because we could just velcro it to the wall out of place. Would be nice for a porch TV also

Totally recommend this product. I think this is a great product for the price. Some other products that do exactly the same cost around 300 dollars

This does what I wanted, to be able to disconnect tv from cable box and move it anywhere else in house without a connecting wire.
I don't see any degradation of the picture.
I wasn't sure because it is called an Extender. It really replaces a physical connection with a wireless connection.

Worked good for 1 day and then magically connection failed. Theyre 30ft apart and clear open sight. Will not re-pair even with them literally touching. Tx will eventually go green. Rx will stay orange. Trying to paid per j5 instructions does not work. They flash orange for a minute and then one goes solid orange and other will continue to blink for hours.
Do yourself a favor and try anytbing else.
