Unfortunately, the hardwired HDMI connecting my projector attached to the ceiling, and my components broke. After a thorough investigation, without major construction, it could not be replaced. I purchased this and it is working flawlessly.

Using it to wirelessly transmit satellite signal to another tv. As long as you hook it up to the main satellite box and not a secondary one, it works great.

Poor picture quality, and audio out of sync

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This HDMI extender was easy to setup and worked right out of the box, but it produced a pretty significantly degraded picture quality for me, the colors were off and it made watching TV difficult on the eyes. It also caused a slight delay between video and audio (both on the destination TV). When someone on TV was speaking it was quite obvious that their voice was out of sync with their lips. My setup had only about 10 feet of distance between the transmitter and receiver with line of sight, and I tried changing channels on the unit to fix the problem with no help. I'm not sure if the unit I bought was defective, or if that is normal, but either way I returned it for a refund.

After That it is still decent quality maybe 1080 to 720, but the frame rate and buffer speeds slow down, so make sure the wifi signal is stong on the upload side.

The transmitter is connected to the video recorder and the receiver is connected to the 2nd monitor. Works as advertised. Couldn't be happier.
