Great comfort and features, well pleasing to ear
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 10 has all the features that you’d want in a pair of earbuds and even some extra. This is quite a long review, if you don’t have time to read it you can just jump to the final thoughts section. Before I start, let me just point out that the dark gold color and overall design of the earbuds are great and feels well made. There are three aspects that I very much consider when getting a pair of true wireless earbuds: comfort, audio performance, and features. The Jabra mainly delivers in all those three aspects. But before going into the details, it’s important to get the most out of earbuds by setting them up properly. There’s a firmware update waiting for the earbuds and upgrade is performed through the Jabra app. Also, it’s important to use the correct silicone tip size as Jabra supplies extra silicone tips to provide with better audio sealing and performance. Jabra provides us with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, which is indeed useful. However, since these days most of the chargers are now using USB-C port, hence it would be more useful if the supplied cable has USB-C tip on both of its ends. From the technical standpoint, a USB-A cable connects to the legacy USB-A ports and most of them, and even most USB-A chargers, are low powered so it’s good for the long run. The earbuds are rated to run for up to 6 hours with ANC on. The case, which also supports wireless charging, supplies you with much more run time. In fact, 5 minutes of charging inside the case will give you up to one hour of run time. On the comfort side, these earbuds are light, they fit well and stay lock into the ears. The audio sealing is also great even when using the default silicone ear tips. The fitting is good that I have confidence that they would stay in the ear even when moving around in fast motion. Audio performance within reason does not disappoint with this Jabra’s flagship earbuds. Daft Punk’s around the world sounds energetic and exciting with good separation of instruments. Bass is smooth but perhaps too smooth to my liking and I would’ve preferred just a slight more kicks. The mids and highs are great. Now onto some fusion jazz music. In Brand New Heavy’s ‘You Are the Universe’, the 10MM driver does not disappoint and truly delivers in this track. The sound of the accompanying instruments came to live, the subtle sound of hi-hat is prominent enough, a detail that is often missing from a 6MM driver in other pair of earbuds. Ed Sheeran’s voice in ‘Perfect (duet with Beyonce)’ is so believable and delivers on the lyrics. The soundstage, however, sounds so much like in a studio, which one may or may not like. I would have liked it more for the sound signature to be a bit more natural and open. Again, and consistently throughout the tracks I tested, the separation of instruments is prominent and pleasingly sound. The dynamics work pretty-well. Bottom point on the sound performance, these earbuds give pleasing sound, which one can always tweak further through the Jabra app or your music player’s equalizer and audio setting. All tracks were tested in lossless audio quality with iPhone 15 Pro Max. The earbuds have all the features you’d want and need in flagship earbuds: from IP 57 rating, latest Bluetooth protocol and connectivity features, ANC to Dolby Atmos. Not only that, Elite 10 has Dolby Atmos’ headtracking capability, which works well and amplifies the spatial audio experience. ANC works really well in blocking outside noise. My workspace is situated in the corner of a busy street and the ANC does a good job in blocking most of the noises. The hear-through functions also work pretty-well but not impressive. If you really want to be fully aware of your surroundings, take off the buds from your ear. Call quality is good as expected. The IP 57 rating means that these earbuds are both dust and water resistant. I don’t have to tell you how useful that rating is: I had my other earbuds accidentally got washed inside my cargo pants and they still work as if nothing ever happened. Also, the Bluetooth multi point connectivity just works great as it should. Switching between multiple devices is seamless. Final thoughts: Jabra Elite 10 is a pair of great earbuds that deliver on all three important aspects: comfortability, audio performance and features. It’s easy to recommend it. These earbuds should become a good choice for those who want to get a pair of top-of-the-line earbuds from a very well-known brand. In terms of audio performance, however, they are not the best as there are many more expensive pairs of earbuds out there that outperform the Jabra Elite 10. Those much more expensive earbuds, however, are probably not worth the price difference for most people as they are intended for those who seek audio par excellence, a quest that will come to no end in the audiophile community who would very much prefer using external DAC and wired headphone in the first place. For exactly this reason, Jabra Elite 10 deserves to get 5 stars as it largely delivers on all the three important aspects above. Because these earbuds are so comfortable to wear, the ANC that works well and not to mention the fast-charging capability, Jabra Elite 10 should be a suitable choice for long-haul travel if one prefers the convenience of earbuds instead of using headphones.

Great-Sounding and Extremely Comfortable Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 65t’s were my first true wireless earbuds and one of the first non-Apple products that worked really well when it came out. I’ve had a few different wireless earbuds since then and the first thing I noticed with the Elite 10’s was just how comfortable I was leaving them in my ears. The fit is spot on and while the tips don’t go as far into my ears as other earbuds do, the overall shape of the buds fits into my ears really well with a fit that doesn’t feel tight at all but at the same time feels extremely secure. I did end up sizing up to the ‘large’ size eartips, though obviously the one that fits you the best will depend on your ears. The silicone eartips that are included are very comfortable, but are uniquely shaped, as is the stem that they fit onto. If you prefer foam eartips I’m not sure there is a 3rd party option available that would fit the Elite 10’s. The earbuds have a soft touch rubbery feel to them, which adds to the in-ear comfort. I tested the Elite 10’s mainly on my iPhone 13 Pro, but did briefly connect them to my Pixel 7 Pro as well. Jabra doesn’t include any special codecs for Android like aptX or LDAC, but will support the new LC3 codec in a future update. You do get multipoint pairing and can have up to 2 devices paired at the same time, which not every wireless earbud supports today. The earbuds are controlled via single buttons on either earbud and they can be changed to just about anything in the app, but by default you get ANC/Transparency mode toggle on the left bud and play/pause/skip controls on the right bud. On Android the Elite 10’s also have Google Assistant support built-in. Jabra also includes Dolby Atmos head-tracking support, though my experience with it so far has been subpar (more on that later). I’ve been impressed with the sound quality of the Elite 10’s so far. Not having used the competing options currently available from Sony or Bose I can’t say how they compare to those, but in general the sound is very clear and there’s a great amount of bass for wireless earbuds, though I think for the bass it’s important to make sure you get the right fit with the eartips as that improved for me a lot when I switched from the medium eartips to the large ones for my ears. The noise canceling is good and effectively blocks out pretty much all ambient environment noise like AC’s and fans. Voices do come through, but once you’ve got something playing it’s difficult to notice that. The transparency mode (or HearThrough as Jabra refers to it) is good and I’m easily able to hear my environment and people talking to me. The transparency mode sounds pretty natural as well, though my own voice is amplified with the earbuds in and that can be a little distracting trying to carry on a normal conversation. I would say that all of these features are noticeably better than the Pixel Bud Pros I was previously using. One thing I was less than impressed with was the Dolby Atmos. From what I can tell, it doesn’t seem to natively support Dolby Atmos tracks such as those found on Apple Music and just applies a spatial effect to normal stereo content. To me, it gives most sound an echo quality and the change in sound from moving my head side to side is a bit too aggressive for my taste. I did try to force on Dolby Atmos in the Apple Music settings and that did sound a lot better, but that setting is not available in every app and has the downside of being something you have to switch off and on when you’re using the buds versus not using them. For me, it felt best to leave Dolby Atmos off, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to taking advantage of it for the tracks that support it in Apple Music. It’s possible that I’m doing something wrong here, or maybe there’s an update from Jabra that will fix this, but for now I’m underwhelmed. Fortunately, the Elite 10’s sound just fine in regular stereo mode. The call quality is good. I made some test calls and recordings and in general the feedback was that I came through clear and was easy to understand. In quiet indoor environments that sound does come through with a bit of an echo, but overall something I would not have a problem using for general calls. The case supports wireless and USB-C charging and is rated to provide up to 27 hours of total battery life, with the earbuds good for 6 hours by themselves. In the 3 or so days I’ve been using these I have not been able to run the battery down in any meaningful way; I typically use my earbuds in short spurts and then put them back into the case. I’d estimate that I’ve used these for about 3-4 hours in total and my case charge is at about 90% according to the app, so that more or less lines up with Jabra’s battery life estimates. The Jabra Sound+ app controls all of the earbud settings and has some nice functionality built-in, including any adjustable EQ. The app has 3 different tabs and the first tab is really where all the functionality is. The second tab is called ‘Discover’ and is mainly just a place to discover features and register the earbuds. The 3rd tab is just some support and privacy policy links. I do feel like the 2nd and 3rd tabs could be combined into a single one, but I don’t have a problem with the app and it’s not intrusive. Overall I’m very happy with the Elite 10’s. The features and functionality are in parity with similar options from Sony, Bose, and Apple and Jabra executes on most of them pretty well. My only real complaint is the subpar Dolby Atmos experience, but it’s a feature I can easily go without and I’ve had other 360 audio solutions from other brands that saw equally little use from me.

Incredible
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I got my hands on the Jabra Elite 10 earbuds and let me tell you, they're amazing! The sound quality is incredible, especially the rich smooth bass. I'm loving them! Here are my highlights: Fit and Feel- I also really love the look, fit and feel of these earbuds. My favorite to date. These Elite 10 also have textile buttons which have always been my favorite. They have a velvety smooth surface with a sleek metal button. The fit is amazing. Finally, a company listened and got away from the shiny plastic. This velvet finish definitely helps them stay in my ears better. These Elite 10 have also been redesigned to fit your everyone’s ears better. The opening for the speaker is faced forward into your ear canal which offers a fit and sound improvement. Comfort – I wear these all day and almost forget that I'm wearing them. They're that comfortable. And I might preface that by saying that I have ears that are generally tough to get earbuds to stay and be comfortable, but I will say these stay in and are super comfortable. I will also mention that these do come with multiple earbud tips in different sizes to fit your ears and seal for a better sound. I went with the largest size and I get a fantastic fit and seal. The dual connection is fantastic- I connect to my phone and my office laptop to take calls and do video conferencing with Microsoft Teams. This is the first set of earbuds so far that don’t glitch out with Teams, that is worth 5 stars alone. Battery Life- As mentioned above, I use my Jabra Elite 10 earbuds all day long for work and stream music from Spotify, and I usually get around 6 to 7 hours of battery life on average. But the best part is, they charge super fast. Around mid afternoon I get the 10% battery warning, I then put them in the case for about 10-15 min. and I am usually back up to 60%+ to use them the rest of the day. Setup – Super easy. You just need to download the Jabra Sound + app and follow the simple instructions. Connection – Bluetooth works great. I can walk almost anywhere in the house without losing connection. (Same level) The Jabra Sound+ App offers a ton of options- Sound modes; - Active noise cancelation and Hear through options - Dolby Spatial Sound - Music equalizer with presets or the use can customize - Soundscape - the ability to mask the noise around you with pink noise white noise ocean waves etc. Settings Tab offers Headset Firmware, Headset settings, Personalize your headset, Voice Assistant, Spotify Tap, Find my Jabra, Register, Quick start guide, Online user manual and online FAQ. No Setting or functionality overlooked that I can find. Ease of use – You get nice verbal feedback for Connection status, battery notifications and assistants. Again, I really like the tactile push buttons. I feel it provide me bertter feedback when I multi click the side buttons. Also, as part of the setting, you can fully customize what each button does. You can even set Spotify to launch with double click. Call quality – Amazing on my side and the caller on other end of the call said I sound great as well. Case / Charging - – Nice size case (not too bulky). It has two indicator lights, one for the case status and one for the earbuds status. The connection to the charging pins lands perfect every time. You simply open the lid and take the earbuds out to turn them on, and then just simply put them back in to charge them. The case holds a charge so you can charge your earbuds multiple times without plugging them in. When it is time to charge, you simply plug in the included USB C cable to any charging device or computer. (Only Cable included) Sound, Sound, Sound – And these are the best quality earbuds I have owned. The sound is AMAZING. The noise cancelling here is also a step above. My best test for this function is when I cut grass. With Jabra Advanced ANC, these really do a superb job canceling out the tractor noise, leaving me the sweet sound of the music. These Elite 10’s come equipped with Dolby Atmos. This offers a much more advanced 3D dimensional surround sound experience. Bottom Line… Don’t hesitate to purchase these. They really are fantastic! – 5+ Stars!

Nice and comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are really nice in-ear headphones that are very comfortable. A couple of great things about these earphones is how easy they go into your ear and how comfortable they feel while in your ear. I like that there is several different ear cushions so you can find the right fit. The ear piece feels soft and that adds to the comfort level. It is not always easy to find headphones that are comfortable and feel good. The earphones arrived at a 60% charge which was great because it made it easy to test right out of the box. It does not take long to charge, maybe about an hour to reach full charge. My son charged the earphones on Wednesday and uses it a few hours a day and it has lasted him until today (Saturday). The earphones connected easily to his iPhone and the app is always a nice bonus with the newer technology. You can control the sound level how much bass you want or the sound quality based on what you are listening to or watching. I love how you can tap the ear piece and change it from outside noice to noice cancellation. I own another popular brand in-ear headphones and I wish it was that easy to switch back and forth. The case for the ear phones is your typical sized case and it feels sturdy enough to protect the ear phones. I would definitely recommend this.

Outstanding sound and comfortable earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve never been that big of a fan of ear buds as they never seem to get loud enough “I have some slight hearing issues” or they make my ears feel plugged, especially on long wear sessions, plus they’ve never fit right. When I saw that Jabra is coming out with the new Elite 10 earbuds, I wanted to give them a try. Unboxing and setting up: The buds are in a nicely logoed “Jabra” box and inside are the buds “inside the charging case”, a charging cable and a pack of 3 sets of different sized “EarGel’s” so you get 4 sets as one is installed on the buds already. I immediately plugged in the charging case, “with the buds inside” and let them charge till the charge light turned green. They must have been charged close to full as it didn’t take long for them to complete charging. While that was happening, I downloaded the app on my Android based phone and set that up. Then since this was the first pairing, I simply took them out of the case setting on my desk and letting my S23 Ultra find them, “which it did almost instantly”, then I went through the pairing process. Once completed I put them in my ears and luckily the gels that were already installed fit perfectly, “think those are the second size up”. Upon inserting in my ears there was an announcement that 2 buds were inserted and connected. Using: There are only two buttons “one on each bud” for control and you can customize the button controls in the App, “I’ve found the default adequate and haven’t adjusted those. But for example while listening to music you press and hold the right to raise the volume and press hold the left to lower, play/pause with a single press of the right where a single press on the left cycles through the ANC types. There are three levels of presses “single, double, triple on each bud” so you can have 6 different control options for each type “Music, Incoming calls, Active calls” One of the first things I did was to make a couple calls to make sure they were working, and they did with flying colors. Those calls and all subsequent calls this last week were all clear and the receivers all stated that I sounded clear and they would nave not suspected I was using buds. Now as for the app, there are a lot of settings, very simply laid out and it didn’t take long to get used to using most of the functions. The ANC works very well, about the best I’ve had so far and come close to my Sony noise cancelling over the ear headphones, although over the ear will give the best results just because of design. There’s also a “Hear Through” mode that allows outside sound to come through so you can carry on a conversation without having to take out the buds. I found this works really well if you crank up the hear through all the way up “there’s a slider that allows you to adjust that in the app”. There’s also a setting for Dolby Spatial Sound which sounds pretty good, and it seems to make the sound seem further away “more like if you are listening in a large room or venue. There’s also a setting for “Head Tracking” and once on the music follows the direction you are pointing your head. Straight forward both ears are equal, then looking left or right the ear facing forward will be louder “just like if you turned your head away from the stage. It’s a neat concept and can be a little strange if you move your head around quite a bit. There’s also a “Music Equalizer” and you can either use one of the built in presets or just drag the 5 channel controls where you prefer, “that’s a nice option to have”. And there’s a “Soundscape” setting where you can have the app play some different “White” type noises if you want to dampen all the outside sounds. I gave that a try and it does work, but not something I’d probably use. Conclusion: I’m amazed at the sound quality of these buds; they are hands down the best I have tried. I was simply amazed at how clear everything is, from calls to music to media, just astonishing. The ear gels aren’t shaped like any other bud I have tried “oval gumdrop shape”, and I didn’t feel plugged up as I have with other earbuds . The “Hear Through” works really well, although I wish it let a little more sound come through “maybe in a future firmware update”. Sound volume is plenty for me with plenty of room to go higher, “which is unusual for me as I have some hearing issues and a lot of other buds I’ve tried just don’t have an high enough output. The battery life is great, I had them in for many hours the last few days and not once did they run out of juice, “and most of that was listening to music”, Jabra’s run times seem to be spot on so you can count on that being accurate. The charging case is very small and light and is easy to slip into your pocket so if you do need to charge the buds it’s right there. I also noticed that these never came loose or fell out, and after a few hours of wearing them, I found “my ears” were ready for a rest and wanted to take them out. So if you are looking for a great pair of active noise-canceling ear buds you won’t go wrong with these new Jabra Elite 10’s.

All-Around Great Performers
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.True wireless earbuds are truly mainstream now. You can get a usable set on the cheap or can splurge for super fancy buds. These Jabra Elite 10 are at the top-end of the spectrum for features and sound quality but are a better value than some of their competitors. They not only sound great with powerful active noise canceling, but also have Dolby Atmos spacial audio with head tracking. Battery life is good and comfort is exceptional. Pros: * Great fit (at least for my ears). * Great sound. * Great battery life with fast charge capability. * Really good ANC. * Really good call quality. * Stay put in my ears without needing “wings.” * Charging case charges wirelessly or by USB-C. * Comfortable for longer wearing sessions. * Tactile buttons (not capacitive). Cons: * Questionable longevity of the soft-touch rubber coating on the buds. * Mutes rather than pauses music during HearThrough transparency mode. * Head tracking can be awkward for music but can be turned off via the app. Setup: Bluetooth pairing of true wireless earbuds has gotten faster and easier in general, but these earbuds were really simple to pair to my iPhone. Just install the Jabra Headphones+ app, then choose to add your new earbuds. The app quickly finds and pairs both the conventional Bluetooth (for audio) and the BluetoothLE (for control of features). Most wireless earbuds allow pairing to multiple devices but can only connect to one at a time and you have to disconnect from one to reconnect to another. These buds have the more rare multipoint capability so you can connect them to two devices at the same time such as your phone and tablet. Watch movies on your tablet and take a call from your phone without having to switch the connection! The app has a ton of useful features including setting the EQ, redefining how the buttons work, updating firmware, etc… Overall, super easy and comprehensive. I don’t have an Android phone to compare, but they supposedly pair just as easily and work just as well on those devices. Usage: Let’s start with the ubiquitous charging case. It’s just a tad larger than the smallest cases that I’ve seen from competitive models in this price range, but overall it’s really compact and easy to carry. It has rounded corners that are comfortable to hold and won’t poke you awkwardly when put in a tight pocket. The lid and back are flat so you can rest it on a table on its back or sit it upside down on its lid if you’d prefer. The lid opens easily and snaps closed with an authoritative magnetic click. Getting the buds out of the case is easy enough since they protrude far enough from the case to grab. Snapping them back in the case is easy, and their soft-touch coating makes them almost feel like they’re smoothly sinking into the case rather than snapping in. Charging the case (and the buds inside) is fast and easy on USB-C or any compatible wireless charging pad. As has been the norm lately, there is a single dual-color LED on the outside of the case to indicate charging status. Green for charged and amber/red for discharged. This is good enough for most everyone who isn’t color blind and the app also has a status display for each bud and the case itself if you need it. The buds are very compact and discrete when worn and nestle in my ear comfortably. Their battery life isn’t much longer than the competition, but I definitely find them so comfortable in my ears that I can wear them for their full battery life without worry. When it comes time to take them out, they’ll fast charge in the case if you pop them in for a few minutes or longer. The outside of each bud is a soft-touch coating that helps keep them in place without the need for “wings” or other parts. I am a bit concerned about the longevity of this material, though, and many of my other products with a similar soft-touch coating tend to get sticky after a few years of use. We’ll just have to see… The buttons on each bud work really well and unlike most of their competitors, these are actual tactile buttons that are pressed rather than capacitive touch surfaces. Not only are they easier to find without accidental activation, but they also work better with gloved or wet hands. Performance: There are 3 main audio categories that I consider for earbuds; how they sound for music and movies, how good their active noise canceling is, and how good they sound on the other end during voice calls. These buds are really at the top end in all three categories. Keep in mind that I did not do a scientific evaluation and my comments are purely subjective based on my hearing and listening preferences. Music and Movies… A nice flat response out of the box with good bass and crisp treble. My favorite genre of music is 80’s New Wave (Eurythmics, New Order, Depeche Mode, Lightening Seeds, 10,000 Maniacs, etc.) but I like just about anything to a degree. Everything that I threw at these buds sounded great but tweaking the EQ in the app made things just pop a little more. By the way, the app also has some built-in ambient sound modes so you can pop in these buds, turn on ANC and play some soothing ocean waves but the sound is coming from the Headphones+ app. I personally don’t like surround processing when listening to music, but for movies, this is a greatly-appreciated feature. The included Dolby Atmos with optional head tracking works really well and makes watching movies on your tablet more immersive. Pair that with the great noise cancelling and you have a movie theater experience wherever you go. You can also have spatial audio without head tracking to suit your preferences. It’s a little less immersive when watching stuff on a phone, but works just the same. For most music listening, I find that spacial audio doesn’t really work well for me since it’s based on your head’s position relative to the device and most people don’t listen to music while facing their phone… but if you do, these buds have you covered! Noise Canceling… The adaptive noise canceling (ANC) is the best Jabra has ever offered in true wireless earbuds. I wouldn’t call it the best available in a true wireless earbud overall, but it’s really good. I haven’t been on a plane with them, but they work great for general home/office noise and public transit background noise. The left bud button is set up to toggle between ANC and their “HearThrough” transparency mode. I really like having that single press switch between ANC and transparency and you can customize it to your liking. The one thing I don’t like about it is that you have the option to mute but not pause the audio when HearThrough is on. For example, if you’re listing to a podcast and tap that button to briefly talk to someone nearby, it mutes the podcast and lets in the outside audio, but when you’re done and switch back to ANC, the podcast was playing silently the whole time and you’ve missed a lot. I’d rather it pause the music than mute it. By the way, if you take either bud out of your ear instead, it will actually pause the playback and turn on HearThrough for the bud that’s left in your ear which is great and maybe better than leaving them both in your ears and activating HearThrough. Voice Calls… For voice calls, there’s great wind cancellation and voice isolation that makes your voice sounds clear on the other end of the call. If you’re going to be on a LOT of calls (video or audio-only), there might be better options like a full headset with a boom microphone, but for the occasional voice call or video chat, these earbuds work better than most and are more than good enough to be heard loud and clear. Overall: These Jabra Elite 10 earbuds have it all; great sound quality for music, movie, games and voice calls, great active noise cancellation and great battery life in the buds and the case. Dolby Atmos spacial audio with head tracking works great for movies and games and the app is easy to use and fully-featured. They are easy to pair, easy to configure and easy to handle with a compact case and slim buds in your ear. They are supremely comfortable to wear for hours on end and don’t feel like they’re going to fall out. There are few small concerns but overall, they are truly great all-around performers that measure up to the top-tier available.

Someone actually built a great product.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hunt is over. I got these a bit early, and I've been searching for earbuds that fit my ears and don't fall out, sound great, have great ANC, have usable mics for calls, and have a portable enough case. I've tried the latest Bose, Sony, Apple, and even tried Logitech, custom models, you name it. Before these, the other previous versions of Jabra's I tried were great in all these departments except sound quality. It was quite a bit worse than any Sony's or even AirPod Pros I had tried (which I think quite low). Bose and Sony's always sounded the best to me, and honestly, it was big enough difference for me to return the previous Jabra's and stick with the M5's or Bose QC2's. But the Sony's ANC in the latest generation sucked, and they have to be jammed into your ear. and the Bose have the worlds largest case, tons of connectivity issues, barely stay in your ear, and the Mics are so bad I had to bring my old AirPod Pro's around with me in case I had a call. The Elite 10, after a week of use, hit the high bar in every department. I mean it. Call quality is the best I've heard on headphones (it's still a headphones mic), the ANC is top-notch, the case is very portable, the tips and fit are so comfortable I can fall asleep in them (and wake up, and they're still in my ear). The only less-than-ideal thing I'd say is the Sony WF-1000XM5 does have a better bass and strong sound profile overall, even with EQ changes on the Jabra's... but it's not worth the sacrifices you have to deal with on the Sony's (jamming it in your ear, bad ANC, and including recent battery life concerns that have come out). After 5 or so years generally hating in-ear headsets, and the past month on a search for the best headsets, I've found them. What I would love to see in the next version: 1. I genuinely don't mind less battery life in the case if that means it's a smaller profile. I would love to have a super-small case that I have to charge every few days v.s. a case that lasts longer but is larger. 2. Would love a "super bass" option. I love hearing that thud, and these headsets are capable of it, just not in the settings. 3. Officially adding "Find My" to the headphones instead of the Jabra version of Find My and speakers to the case.

Comfort is King
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I saw Jabra’s claim that its Elite 10 Earbuds were designed so you could wear them all day, I thought to myself no way, everyone says this and no one ever delivers. However, after using them for 10-12 hours a day, I can say the Elite 10 earbuds are the most comfortable and fully featured in-ear headphones on the market. Jabra claims they scanned 62,000 pair of ears to come up with the perfect fit and after trying these on, it seems Jabra was telling the truth because these headphone cause no ear aches/discomfort no matter how long you wear them. Jabra includes 4 sets of gel ear tips so make sure you try them all to get the best fit or else the noise cancelling wont be as good. Besides the comfort, Jabra has done a great job in every aspect of these headphones. The sound quality is amazing, the bass sounds nice and deep without being uncomfortable and the vocals sound very natural. The Sound+ app allows you to make adjustments to the sound so it best suits your needs, I found the neutral music being the best for myself. The app (Sound+) for the Elite 10 is very easy to understand and the fast-pairing works great with Windows, Android and Apple (you can connect them to a total of 10 devices). The pairing works every time and I never had an issue with connecting. These were also the fastest headphones to pair with my android devices which usually take longer to connect. The Jabra app also lays out all the controls and lets you adjust how you can control your headphones (using the left headphone to answer or switching it to the right). The transition from one device to another also worked well, when playing a movie on my tablet if a call came in the transition was perfect and after the call ended my tablets video would start without hesitation. The Sound+ app also has a find my feature incase your prone to losing stuff. The Elite 10’s come with Dolby Atmos and Spatial sound with Dolby head tracking. I was super impressed with how great the Atmos feature worked if the content I was watching had Dolby Atmos. I was able to hear things behind my head which is amazing! The Spatial audio with head tracking feature works well, as you move the sound adjust and keeps you centered. Jabra has done a lot of things right to make sure the Elite 10 are a complete product. I love the fact that Jabra has included physical push buttons on the Elite 10. Touch controls are always a bit finicky but the physical buttons on the Elite 10’s have a great click to them so it feels as if they will hold up well over time. The charging case also has wireless charging and the magnets for the case wont let the lid flip open or let the headphones fall out. If you’re wondering about how the Elite 10 do with calls, they work really well. Everyone I talked to said they could hear me clearly, I was told that it seemed like I was using my speaker phone while talking but my voice was clear and outside noise (wind/traffic etc) was minimal no matter where I used them. The call clarity comes from the 6 separate mics that help separate the speakers voice from background noise. A great built-in feature is that the call volume auto adjusts when you go from a quiet place to a loud place so there is no need to mess with the volume yourself. The Elite 10 also offers a feature called Sidetone which allows you to hear your own voice on the call so you’re not yelling into the call. Now these headphones do have upgraded Noise cancelling (ANC) and it does a really good job blocking out noise when listening to anything. I think the best part here was that when the noise cancelling was on, I didn’t feel like my head was in a fishbowl. The HearThrough function (which you can use with a simple push) makes it feel as if you have no headphones on at all so you can hear whats going on around you. I was pleasantly surprised how good the HearThrough function worked because on other devices the sound always comes in muffled. One of the biggest things when it comes to wireless devices, is the battery time. The Elite 10 averaged 5 and half hours on charge when using ANC and switching from devices. If I was just using them on one device without ANC I would lose roughly 10%-15% an hour. The headphone case recharges the headphones fairly quickly (about 30% in 15 minutes). These are by far the best in-ear headphones I have ever used and are packed with just about any feature you could ask for. If you’re in the market I would suggest these over any others.

Comfortable fit, incredible sound with ANC
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jabra has been in the earbud and headphone game for longer than many other manufacturers in the market typically making them an edge above when it comes to technological advances. That reigns true again with their new Elite 10 earbuds. I have owned several pairs of Jabra earbuds over the years and they have lasted me longer that most other earbuds I have owned because of their durability and great sound they can produce in comparison to other well known manufacturers. The new Elite 10s elevate the bar with the incorporation of Dolbly Atmos and Spatial Sound which makes music sound like it’s all around you from left to right but also above you. The Jabra Advanced active noise cancelling (ANC) and pass-through sound features work great and you are able to toggle between them within the Jabra smart phone application. Speaking of the smart phone app, it is very easy to navigate and has many other great features including an equalizer you can select certain presets or customize yourself and even Soundscape options if you want ambient noise, nature sounds or comfort sounds to mask the noise around you which could come in handy for yoga or a nap to get your Zen on. As with most recent technology, they work with the Google Voice assistant so you don’t have to worry about pulling your phone out or pushing buttons on the earbuds to perform many functions. With Spotify Tap included in their software, you can get straight to playing music with ease. I have so many other earbuds lying around our house that after using them I end up reverting back to the Jabras not only because of the incredible sound they produce but also because of the comfort and the fact that they don’t easily fall out of my ears when I’m working, running errands around the house or working out. They come with several different size earbud tips that with the Jabra ComfortFit mold to your ears and help secure them into place which is usually always an issue with me and other earbuds I have used in the past. in my opinion, Jabra has continued to be one of the greatest innovators in the earbud industry for well over a decade and you won’t go wrong with venturing away from other well known manufacturers when you invest in their newest Elite 10s and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for an upgrade to their earbuds.

These earphones are amazing! Fit, comfort & sound.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earphones are absolutely amazing. These are the best fitting and the most comfortable earphones that I've ever tried. I have a hard time getting earphones to stay in place and usually when I find a good fit, I still have to adjust them occasionally as I move and talk. These fit perfectly and were very easy to insert into my ear canal. In the 3 days that I've used them, I haven't had to adjust them once they were in. What is really nice is that they included 4 different sizes of earpieces too. They connected without problems to my Phone (Samsung S23), Tablet (Samsung Tab S7), and my desktop (Dell Windows 10) and laptop (ASUS Windows 11). You can connect to two devices simultaneously (i.e., phone and laptop), to take calls and listen to music or watch a movie. When a call comes in, it automatically mutes the pauses the music/movie and resumes when the call is disconnected. These earphones support Dolby Atmos, which my ASUS laptop does as well. The Dolby Atmos App on the laptop recognized the earphones immediately and allowed me to watch a movie in Dolby Atmos. The sound improvement is truly amazing and gives you a in-theater experience. The Sound+ Android App also allows you to configure the earphones to get the best sound too. You can choose between predefined settings or configure your own and save it. Using the earphones for calls works very well too. You can do the usual mute, end, and volume +/- from the earphone buttons of either side. The sound from the built-in mics is very good and I never heard anyone complain that they couldn't hear me while I was on a call. Overall, these are absolutely amazing and give me the comfort and fit that I've been looking for. They come at a great price and have a two year warranty. I highly recommend these.

Come for the sound/comfort but don’t stay for ANC!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 10 is a flagship-level set of earbuds that ticks (almost) all the right boxes, and at least in terms of my own experiences with Jabra’s Elite Active 65T, Elite Active 75T, Elite 3, and now the Elite 10, I can see…well, hear…the advances and improvements Jabra has made in audio quality; and I can easily feel how much they’ve done to improve in-ear comfort and fit. If you’re looking for BT earbuds that deliver on these two issues/features above all others, I’m confident you will not be disappointed. But I’m slightly ahead of myself… Over the last several generations of Jabra buds, they’ve gone from an industrial, workman-like design to a more svelte, rounded, minimalist, and wholly modern-looking aesthetic that I personally find quite pleasing to the eye. There are no attempts here to embellish the earbuds with odd little wings or weirdly non-anatomical shapes like squares or triangles. The flat “Jabra” face buttons are actually buttons to be pressed rather than touch-panels, but they are sensitive enough that they require relatively little force to actuate so you don’t feel like you’re having to jam the earbuds down your ear canals to adjust the volume or skip a track. The battery case is a tad larger than the last few design iterations—not by much mind you, but still noticeably so in the pocket of a pair of jeans pocket or form-fitting shorts. Nevertheless, I appreciate the magnetic closure and the fact that there are two status LEDs. The LED on the outside indicates charge level of the case (the same LED also provides status indicators during firmware updates, which mine required upon power up); the other LED under the lid indicates charge level of the earbuds. The case features both USB-C and wireless charging, and unlike the lower end of Jabra’s Elite line, the battery capacity of the case is also viewable in the Jabra Sound+ app. Anyone who has used a pair of earbuds will likely be familiar with the fitment procedures—grab a pair of Jabra’s EarGel tips from the box and swap them out with the other sizes until you see what fits. Mediums come pre-installed, but Jabra breaks with tradition by providing 4 tips instead of 3. I normally use a medium tip, but I found the smalls to be better for long-term comfort while medium gave a slightly better seal which improved bass response but only slightly improved perceived isolation. Jabra says the Elite 10s are “semi-open” earbuds which supposedly relieves some anatomical pressure caused by fully closed designs, but it does tend to let more surrounding noise in even with a solid EarGel fit (more on isolation/ANC later). The tips are oval-shaped rather than round, and the collar on the stems is triangular—you won’t easily be able to swap out aftermarket comfort-foam tips with the ones Jabra gives you (at least for now). But much like the shape of the buds themselves, Jabra claims the oval EarGel shape is the result of a great deal of user study and is designed to further enhance comfort and relieve pressure. And what do I honestly think all of this really delivers? Frankly, Jabra knocked it out of the park. I personally don’t care for AirPod-like buds where something dangles way down past the ear canals which is why I’ve always appreciated Jabra’s bean-like design—and with this latest iteration, **the Elite 10s are hands-down the most comfortable BT earbuds I’ve ever used!** Out-of-the-box functionality can be dramatically enhanced using Jabra’s Sound+ companion app. Along with making adjustments to the sound mode (ANC, hear-through, or all processing off), you can adjust the 5-band EQ to a frequency response that suits your tastes or choose one of the 6 built-in presets for varying effects such as bass boost, speech enhancement, treble boost, etc. The EQ settings carry over even if Sound+ is closed. The app’s “Soundscape” feature provides some ambient sounds to help drown out background noise (fan, waterfall, white noise); relax with the sounds of nature (rain, ocean, songbirds); or provide comfort for those who want to feel less crowded (cavern) or enjoy the feeling of others around them (crowd). You can also customize the buttons functions if you don’t care for the stock settings (I didn’t like having both skip controls bound to the same button) to include music playback controls as well as incoming and active call control (answer, mute, reject, hang-up, etc.). Other features include in-ear detection for things like auto-answer or auto-pause when a bud is put on/taken off. Spotify Tap and voice assistant selection between Siri or Google Assistant are also here—sadly, there is no Alexa integration at this time. Call quality was exceptional; even while out walking on a windy evening, phone calls were crystal clear and callers said they could very easily make out my voice without a lot of distracting background noise. BT connectivity also shines with multi-point connection for more than one device at a time, as well as Fast and Swift Pair for simple/quick connections to Android or Windows devices. BT delay is minor--video games were playable, but I was more sensitive to out-of-sync sound effects when paired with controller inputs and onscreen action; audio delay during movies/video content alone was noticeable, but not egregiously so. When it comes to sound quality, the Elite 10s really earned their place at the top of Jabra’s earbud ladder. Music isn’t just dumped into your ears--it comes out rich, powerful, and full-bodied without sacrificing speed and detail, or becoming fatiguing at the high end. Strings and guitar plucks are rendered with clarity and nuance while vocals sound realistic without being sibilant or overly breathy. Bass response easily topped all my other Jabra buds by providing that elusive sense of deep, almost chest-rattling bass that is oftentimes so hard to reproduce from such a small enclosure. But it wasn’t just about bass quantity—the Elite 10’s bass notes seemed more refined and better controlled; I could listen to music louder and yet more comfortably because the bass didn’t become muddy or boomy at higher volumes. If you appreciate exceptional sound quality, the Elite 10s deliver in spades! In addition to their musical prowess, the Elite 10s come packed with Dolby Atmos spatial sound as well. This surround processing works well for immersion in games and media, and Dolby Atmos-enabled music really does come alive, sounding realistically spacious and engaging—the effect is quite convincing if you haven’t yet heard what Dolby Atmos can do. Then Jabra goes it one better with 3D head tracking. The Elite 10s render a 3D Atmos audio image, then anchor it in space so that when you turn or tilt your head, the sound sources remain fixed in their original positions. I thought this feature would be cool, but I rarely turn it on because it ends up coming off as more of a gimmick than a feature I was clamoring for. For instance, while brushing my teeth, an Atmos soundfield was projected into the mirror in front of my face. I turned my head down and to the side to read something on the counter, but the soundfield was anchored to a spot above my head and to the left. This may be realistic if I was facing a set of speakers, but it wasn’t something that enhanced my enjoyment of the music precisely because I was using earbuds. But there’s also a catch; the head-tracking only held the music’s relative position for a while, then it slowly slid back down to match the orientation of my head…until I stood back up to look in the mirror where it took a bit for the soundfield to reorient once again. There are probably some out there who will find the effect compelling, or at least amusing, but there are a few other features/capabilities I would rather have seen included or enhanced. For example, ANC is appreciated, as is the fact that when it’s on, there is only a *barely perceptible* impact on sound quality; but I find the ANC itself only passable at best—I would call it noise attenuating rather than noise cancelling. To its credit, the Elite 10’s design did eliminate the painful ANC pressure I have experienced with other earbuds, but the ANC only seemed reasonably effective in an already quiet room with relatively regular low-level background noise/hum (PC fans, AC blower, etc.)--louder sounds (even a small desk fan running at medium or high) were still quite intrusive. And if there are irregular/impulse noises like keystrokes or a busy conversation nearby, ANC seemed to do little more than take the edge off. Curiously, you can make real-time adjustments to the amount of hear-through in Sound+, but ANC level is not adjustable on the fly. Jabra’s marketing materials claim that the ANC is auto-adjusted dynamically based on ambient noise levels, and while I don’t think the Elite 10s are ever going to give me an inky black background of totally noise-deadening silence, I’d at least like to be able to control how aggressively the ANC is (or isn’t) working at the time. Finally, as a flagship earbud that already sounds really, REALLY good, I was very disappointed to learn there is no support for current high-definition BT codecs like aptX HD or LDAC. The new L3C audio codec will supposedly be enabled via BT LE firmware update a later time, but early reading suggests L3C will probably only offer some sonic improvements over SBC quality (though it can supposedly do so at lower power/bit-rates). Time will tell whether L3C can match or beat current HD codecs for ultra-high-definition BT streaming, but that was a nice-to-have that will be missed with my current high-definition digital sources. Sigh, I guess I’ll have to get a new DAP that supports BT LE as well because, at the very least, I’m happy enough with the performance and features that matter most to me that I’m not getting rid of my Elite 10s any time soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Premium Earbuds - Great Sound, Long-term Comfort
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had a chance to try out the new Jabra Elite 10 for about a week. I’ve used them at home doing chores, walking the dog, mowing the yard, listening to music, and online meetings. These are true wireless buds that are focused on the premium earbud crowd while those looking for a more active oriented bud would need to look at the Elite 8 Active. Prior to getting the Elite 10’s I was a daily user of a pair of Elite 7 Active buds. So far these have been an excellent pair of buds that provide a great level of comfort and sound quality. Features The Elite 10’s are an ‘in-ear’ bud that comes with a charging case, USB-A to C cable, and 4 different ear tip sizes. The shape of the bud is really what helps keep these in your ears as the ear-tips don’t impart a lot of pressure/grip. The 10’s don’t have the ShakeGrip of the Active series, but they have a rubberized coating that that is soft and comfortable while providing the necessary grip. These buds also carry an IP57 rating, which is not super necessary with the target usage but it is comforting to know that sweat/submersion won’t affect them. Each bud has flat metallic outer surface, which covers the clickable button underneath. The material used on the buds is a soft, slightly grippy rubber across the whole surface. This rubberize material is soft and does a good job providing grip, but not quite to the extent of the Actives. The buds come with Bluetooth 5.3 and a rated range of 33 feet. I am able to comfortably walk around my house without losing any connectivity. Outdoors, with direct line of sight, I could get the better part of 100 feet away before I was losing connection. Battery life of the buds (without the case) is decent but a little down from the capacity of my 7’s. The buds have a solid battery life – 6 hours in the buds with ANC on or 8 hours with it off, which is a loss of about 2 hours over the 7’s. The case evens things up a bit maintains a similar total battery life – 27 hours total if using ANC or 36 hours with ANC off (vs 30/36 hours). There is also a quick charge feature when the battery is low where 5 minutes in the case will provide an hour of battery life. There are 2 ways to charge the case and buds – via USB C or through a wireless Qi charger. Either way it takes about 3 hours to charge from empty. The case has indicator lights for battery status – green is high, yellow is medium, and red is low. For the buds I have an indicator on my phone that pops up and tells me their charge level. The case itself is slim in its profile and decently lightweight. It is compact enough to easily fit into pockets or simply toss into a bag. Pairing was very easy on my Pixel 7 Pro. I already had the Sound+ app installed, so while it was running, I pulled an earbud out of the case. It paired straight away and took me into the configuration steps. I also paired the buds to my work laptop within a few seconds as well, which allows me to take advantage of the Bluetooth Multipoint feature. With the Sound+ app I setup my controls, desired EQ, and sound modes. There are 3 sound modes - ANC (active noise cancellation), hear-through, and off. Hear-through is tuneable in the app, and allows you to set your preferred level of passthrough noise. The ANC works great in my experience even if it isn’t as isolating as the 7 Actives. This is the trade-off of using a semi-open design and eartips designed for pressure relief. The ANC still tuned out office noise with ease, and provided a great deal of noise cancellation in most environments. The only times I noticed the ANC not being as strong was during activities like mowing where a little more mower sound crept in. The hear-through mode work great as well – it boosted the outside sounds just fine and accomplished it without adding any fuzziness or distortion. While wearing the buds the simple act of pulling a bud out of your ear will pause any audio playing. You can set in the app to also pause any audio if you toggle between ANC and hear-through. After a certain period of time the buds will go to sleep, so you need to drop them into the case and pull them back out to re-pair them. You can set this time in the app – mine is currently set to 30 min. Sound The reason I have used my Elite 7 Active buds as daily drivers for almost 2 years is due to the sound quality. The Elite 10’s build on that and sound just as good if not better. The seal around the buds isn’t as tight as the 7’s, which I thought might affect the bass response. However, the bass still sounds great and has just as much punch/depth. The highs are really well-tuned and provide some highlights on background noise/effects that I have missed in the past. The mids are also clear, and again well-tuned. Vocal ranges across the mids and highs are very clear and sharp – there is no muddiness or tinny reproduction. Sound clarity across all volume levels was consistent. I didn’t notice any real drop-off in the ranges as the volume pushed lower, which often happens with less responsive drivers in cheaper buds. I am still trying to understand the Spatial Audio feature and how best to leverage it. For music its less than useful as it makes the music hollow sounding. However, you can toggle on head tracking and the music/sound will act like its coming from set point out in front of you. Moving your head around affects which ear the sound is coming in from. It is kind of cool to mess around with, but I wonder if it would find its best use in a VR setup where the head tracking can be leveraged to create greater immersion. With my Elite 7’s I found calls to be a bit of a mixed bag – incoming sound was great but the buds tended to really pick up on background noise. I was hopeful with the new 6 mic setup (vs. 4 on the 7’s) that things would improve. I made several test calls in different scenarios to see how it worked. Outdoors with cars driving by went well even with a light breeze, and it wasn’t really heard by the person on the other end. When the wind picked up they could hear more noise, but it wasn’t blown out like my 7’s would get. Activities like typing on my keyboard aren’t really highlighted, but running water in the sink would get picked up. I would say ambient noise is better filtered, and certainly an improvement. However, these are in no way better than a simple boom mic with or without a wind sock. Fit/Comfort The buds come with 4 rubber tip sizes for you to choose from – S, M, L, XL. I ended up settling on the large. I typically wear the medium size for most earbuds, but the way these eartips are shaped I felt it was necessary to size up. Speaking of the shape I was surprised by their more squished oval/triangular shape. These are not round in in any way, so they fit into the ear canal more comfortably. These are easily an all-day comfort type of bud. I never ran into an issue with keeping the buds in my ear. Initially I was a little distrusting of the fit because it was a softer feeling compared to the “wedged-in” fit of the 7 Active’s. After wearing them and moving around I got comfortable with it. I would be a little worried doing a lot of dynamic activity like running or circuit exercises, but weightlifting and cycling/ellipticals seem to be doable. I have an average sized ear, so I always check the fit of any new earbuds on my GF. She has a smaller ear shape with a narrower concha opening and shorter anti-helix distance (had to look up an ear diagram for the names). I think I have gotten 15 earbuds over the last 4 years and only 3 have ever fit. Unfortunately these don’t fit either. The way the body of the bud nestles into the concha and wedges against the anti-helix for grip is what kills it. Even with the smallest eartips she couldn’t get a fit – it’s the same story with the 7 Active’s, so I wasn’t surprised. Controls The controls are simple to master, and you can customize them to your liking in the Sound+ app. There are single, double, and triple press functions as well as a press and hold function. That is also divided between ear buds for a total of 8 different control options. The controls are further divided by the activity – listening to music, incoming call, and active call. The buds have a physical button to press, and it only requires a light amount of force. The button gives a nice click and has very good responsiveness. Commands still work if you are only using 1 bud, but you are limited to whatever commands you assigned to that bud. The downside with this control setup is volume is not one of the control options. The controls to raise and lower volume are all done on the device in use. I am not sure why its like this, but it seems like this should be possible. It may have to do with limitations of the Bluetooth Multipoint, and you would now be controlling the volume of 2 devices. I don’t really know though. Overall The Jabra Elite 10’s are very comfortable premium tier earbuds that deliver great sound quality. I can see myself wearing these for hours without issue, which I can’t say for a lot of buds. The unique eartip shape goes a long way to making these comfortable.

ELITE EARBUDS!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 10 earbuds are a pair of true wireless earbuds that offer excellent sound quality, active noise cancellation, and a comfortable fit. The Jabra Elite 10 offer tons of features that allow for a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience. So, let’s go over the features of Jabra Elite 10. Sound Quality: The Jabra Elite 10 earbuds produce clear, detailed and well-balanced sound. The earbuds offer excellent sound quality, with clear highs, punchy bass, and a balanced soundstage and almost lifelike with the Spatial audio turned on. The earbuds support SBC and AAC codecs, but they do not support LDAC or aptX Lossless. However, I did not find the lack of support for these codecs to be a major issue, as the sound quality was still excellent overall. The earbuds also support Dolby Atmos Spatial Sound with headtracking and stereo options, both of which sound amazing. So, whether you’re watching a movie or listening to your favorite tunes your experience will be nothing but the best. Active Noise Cancellation: The active noise cancellation on these earbuds is also very effective. The earbuds block out most ambient noise so that you can concentrate on your favorite tunes. Using three microphones in each earbud to process and cancel out the outside noise. I have been using these earbuds while working from home and even when I travel sometimes for work and they have proven to be great. They are great at blocking out noise in airplanes and appliance noises at home. One thing you have to keep in mind to get the best ANC experience possible is that you have a good seal of the ear canal with these ear buds using the provided ear tips. Fit and comfort: The Elite 10 earbuds have a comfortable fit and design. They are lightweight and do not cause any discomfort even after wearing them for extended periods of time. The earbuds come with a variety of ear tips to choose from, so you can find a pair that fits your ears the best. Jabra claims to have scanned about 62,000 ears to create their unique oval ear gels for that perfect fit and it seems to have paid off. I have had these on for about 5 to 6 hours on a recent trip and I did not experience any discomfort. I have also used these earbuds while working out and the earbuds were comfortable and stayed in place. Battery life: The Elite 10 earbuds have a battery life of up to 6 hours on a single charge with ANC enabled. The charging case provides an additional 27 hours of battery life. The earbuds also support fast charging, so you can get up to an hour of playback from just 5 minutes of charging. The case also supports wireless charging but can also be charged with the provided USB-C cable. You don’t have to worry about running out of power with these buds. Pros: • Excellent sound quality with Punchy Bass • Crystal Clear Calls with a total of 6 microphones • Active noise cancellation • Comfortable fit and design • Dolby Atmos spatial audio with head tracking • Multi-point connection: This feature allows you to connect the earbuds to two devices at the same time. • IP57 / Waterproof: Great for when you are working out. • You can use one or both earbuds. • Configure your own controls. Cons: • I honestly was not able to find anything that stood out to me on these earbuds. Overall, if you are looking for a pair of earbuds that sound amazing, with good active noise cancellation, and a comfortable fit, the Jabra Elite 10 earbuds are a great option.

Better usability than Bose Ultra and AirPod Pro 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the title says I went from AirPod Pro 2 to Bose QC Ultra, and finally found these gems. I can't do the isolation buds that cram in your ears rendering every step or breath an adventure into 20,000 leagues under the sea, so the choices are limited. Must haves for me include excellent sound, ANC, low hassle, and comfort/stay-put-ness even during exercise. The Apple was really good sound once I added the Boom app to my phone, but I honestly couldn't stand the pinching of the stems to control things. I didn't even realize how much I hated it until I'd moved on. Plus the tips had to be changed to memory foam to limit them falling out during exercise, but it still happened. Tired of repositioning I went for the latest Bose QCs (ultra). Sound was EXCELLENT with just the Bose app, as well as great comfort....but they WOULD NOT stay put during exercise, the touch controls inadvertently got activated every time I adjusted, and worst of all, the connectivity issues were AWFUL! Bose sent me replacements and tried to trouble shoot--even discount, but alas I still had to reconnect them to my iPhone WAY too often. In desperation I found these Jabra Elite 10s. Being a snob I had my doubts about anything not a Bose, Apple, B&O, or similar brand, but I took a shot knowing I could return them if they failed to impress. Spoiler alert--SO HAPPY! ANC maybe not quite as good as the others, but plenty good enough. "Open" design with great hear-through setting, great sound with the Jabra app/eq (not Bose, but honestly I'm picky and these are dang good), actually stay put during running, connect every time automatically without fail, AND.......actual pushbutton controls! Don't kid yourself, you WANT this feature!! Kudos to Jabra for these buds, and thank you for such an excellent product! I'm sure the next version or two will sound even better and I look forward to those, but PLEASE don't take away the buttons!!

Balanced for Work and Play
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you use earbuds for taking conference calls you know how important it is to have a mute button. With these Jabra Elites you just tap the left earbud to mute the call when the kids scream or the dog barks and no one on the call hears it. No more trying to unlock the phone and find the phone app to mute the call with everyone wondering where all that noise is coming from! These earbuds make taking conference calls on the go or at home so much easier. And when you aren’t taking calls the ANC and Dolby Atmos/spatial audio built into these earbuds bring the music to life. I think these are a perfect balance between fit, function and audio quality. Performance: The music quality especially using Dolby Atmos and spatial audio is quite impressive. In the Jabra Sound + app you can turn on spatial audio as well as a head tracking feature that adjust the sound as you move your head to give you a more live experience. The spatial audio really is amazing when you stream Dolby Atmos music. It definitely widens the sound stage and provides a more realistic rendition on most songs. While I am a fan of the spatial audio I found the head tracking a tad bothersome especially if I wasn’t sitting still. When playing my favorite music I felt the mids and highs were crisp and the bass was stronger than I expected. Also in the app there is a five point equalizer and six music presets so you can personalize how the music sounds. For calls the voice quality sounded good and everyone said I sounded fine. The noise reduction on the microphones worked reasonably well but I am quick to mute when things get loud. The Active Noise Cancellation ANC is good but not the best that I have used in earbuds. They seem to cut out the lower tones but don’t totally isolate you from the environment. I have a ceiling fan in my office and with ANC on I can still hear it running but the sound is reduced. They do a better job cancelling the lower tones than the mids or upper tones. I think that because the gel pads allow some relief from ear pressure there is slightly less of an isolation effect. They also have Hear Through options so you can listen to your music and still navigate your surroundings. Fit and Function: These earbuds are slightly slimmer and more curved than previous versions of the Jabra Elite series. They feel much lighter in my ear and are less noticeable over time. The new gel pads are supposed to lessen the pressure on your ear and fit more comfortably and so far in my use I have to agree that they do. They list the pads as being gel but to me they are like the previous flexible rubber pads with a slightly different design. Jabra supplies three additional gels in various sizes so that you can match them to best fit your ear. The big difference is that these earbuds don’t feel like they are closing off your ear canal or that something is being stuffed into your ear. Because the earbuds feel so light in my ear I was concerned about their stability but they don’t fall out or move much even when I do. The new design also seems to cut down on the rubbing sensation and noise when I move my head or jaw. The earbuds are noticeable in the ear but they don’t stick out far and they don’t have any protruding extensions. To select a function these earbuds have a mechanical switch so you feel something engage when you tap the earbud. I like this because I know when its pressed. The Jabra Sound + app allows you to customize the buttons but the default features should meet most user’s needs. The earbuds have a built in pause if you remove one. Using the Sound + app you can configure them to work as a pair or as single earbud. They are IP57 rated so they can handle typical sweat and dust. The earbuds are charged via a usb-c cable and also can be charged wirelessly which is really nice. Cons: The battery life is only six hours which is less than I got with my prior Elites. The case has a round bottom which means it doesn’t stand up on its own when you are opening the lid to get them out.
