Have been trying multiple devices, but this one came out strongest. Was important for me to make sure I could do phone calls without issues on receiving end. In addition works great for listening to music with equilizer app. Also fits my ears perfectly

I bought these in-ear headphones for use while I cycle indoors on a smart trainer, both for listening to classical music and for talking using the Discord app. The first use with Discord worked perfect, everyone else could hear me OK, however on subsequent uses the other people cannot hear me speaking. I didn't change any settings or how I wear the headphones, so totally stumped why the low mic levels. If this continues I'll have to get a refund.

Hello Daniel. We are sorry to hear that you have connection issues with the Discord app, an app not supported for Jabra devices, while using the Jabra Elite 65e. We would suggest resetting the Elite 65e by following these steps: Ensure the earbuds are powered on and you are not on a call. Then simultaneously hold the Volume up button and the Multi-function button for 5 seconds.
You will then need to re-pair the earbuds. Daniel, please reach out to our support team if you have any further questions. https://www.jabra.com/ServiceMenu/contact/ContactJabraSupport/ContactJabraSupportConsumer. We are happy to assist you. Thank you for your review. Jabra

These Jabra head phones are great. Call quality is superb and with the app I can adjust the EQ to perfect sound for music. Comes with 3 different size ear pieces for a good fit. Really like how they vibrate with incoming calls

The sound quality is really good. I like the noise cancelling and the app. Sad to say though, the right ear bud has started to to make a scratchy noise in my ear. It is really loud and feels like a wire connection due to the way it does or doesn't scratch when moving the wire. I bought them about two weeks ago, and will be returning/exchanging them in the near future. I would recommend this to a friend if it didn't make a scratching noise.

I could be biased because I am still not used to the type of wireless headphones that rest on your ears. Seeing as how the other kind doesn't stay in my ears when I jog, I figured I would try these. The price is reasonable and the quality is good, both sound and design. The app is user-friendly, not complicated or confusing at all, and the preset sound options fit well with my workout. I can make calls without having to stop working out with the voice assistant. I don't know if I have small ears or something, but even with the replaceable ear gels, I find it hard to keep the buds in my ear. The neck rest saves me from having to pick them up off the ground and reduces the risk of breaking.

I'm really surprised by the great sound that come out of these guys. They are very comfortable in that you don't jam the buds in your ear. They sit kind of like Bose in ear. The closest comparison to these are the Bose QC 30. The ANC is a little better than the Jabra's but the sound quality ( especially the bass) is way better than the Qc's. I also like the app that is available for the jabras that allow you to adjust the sound to your liking. For between 100 and 150 off the Bose I would get these all day long. I have owned the QC and am much happier with these.

This product is great on all points but one. I love the app that allows you to adjust with an EQ, control external background sound, see battery power, create background sounds like songbirds/pink noise/rolling river plus other features. The sound is pretty good, but I had to remove a piece of the earbud gel so it fits in my ear better. I like the fact that I can watch a movie on my tablet and still answer my phone. It works with two devices at the same time. The only thing that I dislike is that the part that rest on the back of your neck. It seems to always slip down. It is difficult to keep them on your neck while moving around as I do at work or in the yard without constantly pushing them back up on your neck. If you can put up with that, I think I got a good bargain at $139 on sale.

I've always liked JabraConnect products but I've never thought of them as an earbud company. Always used their Bluetooth ear pieces but didn't think of them for music per se. main function of this headset was to use for talking, which I do all day in my sales role. Secondary function was to use these for the gym. I wake Up in the morning use these at the gym for 90 mins streaming music. Then I go To work where I proceed to talk for hours on end. The battery lid is incredible. I don't get any complaints from people regarding background noise. Sound is very good and the app provides unlimited adjustments. Very durable and long battery life. Worth the money.

I purchased the Elite 65e in hopes of finding a good all around set that would work well on my commute, on daily Google Hangouts/Meets, and on the occasional plane trip (to replace my aging Sony over-the-ear noise cancelers). I tried them with an iPhone 7 and a couple of MacBooks. The Good: - Nice rich basey sound for music - Very good passive noise isolation due to earbud fit - Helpful voice and tone assistance - Effective "hear through" mode - Good companion app for changing equalizer signatures, ANC/Hear-Through on-off and various other settings. Also includes pink noise and ocean wave tracks. - When not in use, earbuds click together with magnets and auto power down, making it easy to keep them in reach for next use - Nice quality build and premium feel, including carrying case The Disappointing: - Call mic quality was not good at all in anything but a quiet environment, and thus not effective for most of my call scenarios. This was especially disappointing given the reviews and marketing claiming superior call quality. I tried with both the phone and the MacBooks with same result. - Frequent dropouts on busy NYC streets. - Neckband, although attractive and a nice fit, started to feel heavy on my neck after wearing more than 30-60 minutes. Defeats the desired convenience of wearing them all day so they would be in easy reach. - ANC not very effective, either blocking noise from being heard or improving call quality for other party. I really wanted to like the 65e with high hopes they would meet all my needs, but in the end they fell short on too many fronts.

These are great noise cancelling headphones! Jabra has really nailed this one right out of the park. Overall the sound quality far exceeding my expectation. The mobile app lets you configure the EQ, it produces quite an amazing level of low end, and the ear bugs fit and seal perfectly in my ear. The ANC definitely helps in certain cases, but it does drastically decrease your battery life. I actually ended up seeing closer to 6-7 hours of use before needing to recharge the battery. I was using them in fairly noisy environments so it was definitely being tested. I specifically found them great for using with the lawn mower. They isolate the outside noise and allow you to listen to music at a more moderate volume. The carrying pouch helps keep the headphones protected a bit and the magnetic sensors on the earbuds worked most of the time. The build construction is solid, but the neck band could be slightly bigger for people with large necks. These things really excel especially when you use them for calling people. The ANC and microphones really help this achieve a phenomenal call quality, this is where Jabra really shines though with these headphones. If you're looking for an amazing, affordable pair of bluetooth earbuds with ANC, look no further. This pair will not disappoint!

I like the sound of these Jabra Elite 65e Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Earbud. They easily match my preferred sound profile. I like accurate, natural bass and good detail. Their comfort, ease-of-use, voice clarity, and functionality for phone use are real winners. I can easily recommend these earbuds, with a few caveats noted in my review. SETUP: The more time I spend with my electronics, the more I realize that ease-of-use is at least as important as my obsession with sound quality. Jabra could be a bit more helpful here, as their "Get Started Guide" shows the very important Sound+ APP inside it's cover, but makes no other mention of it. Do yourself a favor, and download the APP while you wait for that 1st charging. With the App installed on your phone, you can set aside the "GET STARTED" guide I will give kudos for a guide you can read without magnifying glasses and with genuinely useful diagrams. But, it's the APP that has a USER MANUAL under the DEVICE ICON. Save yourself time and go directly here. COMFORT and FUNCTIONS: With the Jabra Sound+ the PAIRING process is fast. The control for ON/OFF/BT/Phone use sits between nicely separate UP/Forward and DOWN/Reverse controls, along the right "arm" of the neck band. You're ready to play music. All three buttons are really raised and really easy to locate while out-and-about. There are only 2 controls on the left neckband "arm" which control noise cancelling and MUTE/VOICE/SIRi, etc. The earbuds are very lightweight and it was easy for me to get a good fit. I'm a big fan of the oval shaped gels and the "wings' that Jabra employs. These earbuds sit in your ears without fuss and fiddling. The neck band is fairly comfortable, and "disappears" quickly enough, but it seems designed for the average to smaller neck sizes. SOUND and Noise Cancelling: Accurate, detailed. Exceptional voice quality for phone calls. For overall sound, there is a nice surprise for you: in the APP, under the HOME ICON, touch the GEAR ICON, then Audio Experience, then Music equalizer, and here you discover a 5 Band Equalizer, music controls, and a quick RESET to start over. Nice, if buried deeper than necessary. Other controls are here under the GEAR and simpler adjustments are just under the HOME icon. Noise Cancelling is on board. This is not the "blackhole" silencing some other headphones can provide, but it can certainly quiet down a droning engine. COMPLAINTS: On my iPhone6 I found that the noise cancelling was critical to getting high quality sound from the Jabra Earbuds. When I defeated it, sound quality took a bad turn, losing bass and volume. But, I also had another odd quirk, which may or may not have been contributing to my results. The APP was actually PAIRING with my iPhone6, twice. Working with Jabra Support is a pleasure, as they take whatever time is required to sort out problems.

These were my first wireless noise-canceling in-ear headphones and for that reason, I didn't have any experience with a similar device. I tried not to compare with an over the year type to be true to the audience target this was meant for. One feature that I really like is the neckband. Although I do like the ones with no wires, I never feel comfortable exercising with them. No matter how they swear they wouldn't pop out of your ears, they do even if it's just once in a while. The Jabra Elite 65e is less likely to happen in my experience so far and I do exercise at least once a day. To me, what really matters is comfort and sound quality. Comfort was not bad but I couldn't stand using them for more than a couple of hours in my ears. This is a common problem for me and you may not experience it the way I do. As for sound quality, this will not disappoint many people, even audiophiles like me. Good base for this type of device. There were no statics with iPhone 7 Plus or iPad. Call quality, however, was a mixed experience. For me it was excellent but people at the other end complained about echo. I couldn't figure out the right settings - if any - to fix that. Noise cancellation cannot be compared with an over- or on-the-year device. It does work and it's good for a walk or run in the park but for complete isolation from the world outside and comfort, I always find myself going back to over-the-year headphones. The main issue so far is the app for customization. It could be a lot better but to be fair, I have the same problem with apps for other brands such as Sony. Maybe the issue I had with phone calls could be easily fixed with the app if it was better designed. I would give five stars for sound quality, a.k.a. music, three for phone calls, noise canceling and comfort, and two for the app. I may be mistaken but all but one of the issues above may be fixed with a software update, especially considering that these headphones have 3 mics. I would easily change my rating to five stars when those fixable issues are addressed.

Good audio but totally useless noise cancelling

The earbuds are comfortable, have a good premium feel, and the build seems solid. The audio quality is good and the voice is clear, but the active noise cancelling is useless and doesn'thing to filter out any ambient noise. The app is basic, allowing you to switch between three mode and has an equalizer and options for audio cues and vibration. Overall I was satisfied with the audio performance but the ineffectiveness of the noise cancelling was a huge letdown making the asking price very hard to accept. Pro: -Audio was balanced -Build quality is good Con: -Noise cancelling doesn'thing -The audio cues is hard to tell apart -Tiny buttons The earpieces are comfortable and light. The soft rubber wings doesn't put any pressure on my ear and it stays in just fine. The neck band is solid and is heavy enough with a slight curve so it doesn't slide around or fall off. The buttons on each side are a little squishy and are somewhat small. I've to feel around to make sure I'm pressing the right buttons. The audio quality is good enough for me. The sound was balanced enough for casual listening. I don't like earbuds that try to emphasize the bass by muffling the rest of the sound so I was satisfied with these. The vocals came in clear and crisp. For the active noise cancelling, I did not have the same great experience that other users have reported so maybe I got a defective one, but for me the ANC is just terrible. It's so ineffective that there's practically no difference between it being on or off. The only slight difference is that the audio is a bit louder. I can still hear all the ambient sound around me just as clear, even the low hum like the ac or fan still comes through. I would go as far as to say that these are the worst noise cancelling earbuds I've had, especially at this premium price. As for the app, it's pretty basic. You can select between your general default, commute, and relaxing. The general setting lets you use the equalizer, and lets you adjust some setting for audio cues, vibrations, and your prefered noise cancelling mode. The option for commute lets some ambient sound in while the relax option is supposed to block out all ambient sounds. My main annoyance is with the audio cues. You can set it to have either vocal or audio cues indicating when the earbuds power on/off and when the ANC is on/ambient/off, but it doesn't work consistently between the three modes. Vocal cues only seems to work in the General setting. When using the audio beeps, it's hard to tell which mode the ANC is in, especially since there's very difference in the audio. So unless I was sent a defective pair, these earbuds are not worth the price. Even though the audio was quite good, the "profession grade ANC" is an absolute failure. A hard pass.

If you're looking for the best earphones for the gym, these might not be for you. If you're looking for completely wire free, also (obviously) not for you. If you're like me and need something for the office that not only sounds great but has good call quality as well, Jabra's most recent offering may be exactly what you're looking for. the good: sound quality - Wow. I'm blown away by the quality of sound that I'm seeing in Jabra products recently (the 65t sound great as well, for wire-free ear buds). Full spectrum is represented well here, with nice low end extension and crisp (but not fatiguing) highs. Really well done, and fun to listen to. These have quickly become my daily drivers because of music and call quality. multiple device connectivity - can connect to 2 devices at the same time. This is so convenient during the work day. I connect to both my laptop and my phone, and switching works quite well. call quality - This is what comes to mind when I think Jabra (though I've begun to think "audio quality" as well. I use these for multiple calls for work through the day, and those on the other end of the line tell me they sound great. ANC - Passive I've seen before.all in ears are passively isolating to a certain degree. Active noise cancelling?? I'm not sure if they cancel on par with something like an over ear QC35 from Bose (which are probably tops here) but still pretty effective. I'll definitely be trying these on my next flight. comfort / fit - I've trouble with lots of in ears fitting properly, and the shape of these, along with the wings, make for a really secure fit. Very comfortable to use all day for me. battery life - So far, no issues using these all day during work. case - For this neck band style of in ear, an include soft case is a nice touch. it's enough to keep them in good shape if you just toss them in your bag at the end of the day. app - Jabra's mobile app has some nice features (ANC control, equalizer), but overall could probably use a little work. It's probably the weakest part of the entire package in my opinion, but in no way is it especially bad. I'd really like to see the ability to control connected devices here (Bose app has this feature). the bad: none for me overall: For me, these are an absolute home run. I never imagined that my go to pair of headphones for daily drivers would Jabra (over, say, Bose, JBL, Sony, B&W). I need 3 things in my daily use - 1. obviously music quality is paramount 2. phone call quality for work and 3. at least enough battery life to get through the day. This headset is superb for all 3 without a doubt. 5 stars, highly recommended for those with similar needs.

I am going to start with my dislikes, because there are few. Dislike: -Overall these seem to be really well made and exceptional quality, but the mic grill/cover does not feel like it will stay attached very long. There is a edge that protrudes from the mic grill at the housing that feels like it will snag and pull right off in time. -The neck band. I have a larger neck, 17" shirt collars. The neck band is snug, it really is hard to describe. While most of the weigh is at the back, the flex points seem to put the pressure towards the front of my neck. - The app. This a a good and evil. There is the Sound+ app in the Play Store (Apple Store for those people :) that is pretty decent, BUT you have to install a second Jabra Service that is linked in the app, bottom of the screen after connecting. Two apps to manage the headphones just seems odd, neither seem to be required. Also, late add, the app says there is a update to the headset, that after it starts installing...IT NEVER ENDS. The app seems to be designed to be a initial setup but is not in the documentation. Likes: -The sound is almost perfect to my taste. Good bass, treble, very balanced out of the box. There is a equalizer that is slightly hidden in settings. - Ear pieces fit really nicely. Good comfort there. - Mic has a really good quality to it. - ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) is one of the better implimentations that I have used. - Magnetic earpieces so they do not accidentally get snagged in something. - Wires to the earpieces feel really thick and strong. - Buttons are clicky and very intuitive. - You can connect to two devices without issue. Tested with a Chromebook, iPhone and a Android Phone. Just hold the power for about 3 seconds when powering on and you can connect the other device. It will connect to two devices at once, but will remember more. I have 3 devices remembering the headset and they switch rather easily by connecting in BT settings. - Battery life has been really good, exceeding the 12 advertised hours. Overall, I really like these headsets. I just wish the weight distribution and tightness in the neck piece were better distributed. I would recommend for normal sized humans. Larger people may want to try them on before deciding if these are a good fit.

Jabra Elite 65e – Exciting EQ Sound Customization

After two weeks of using the Jabra Elite 65e Wireless Neckband everyday, I feel confident in writing an evaluation focusing on its most significant features. I received this complimentary Jabra Elite 65e Neckband in exchange for an honest and informative review. Sound Quality: * Ultimately, the most important characteristic of any wireless earbuds is the sound quality. Coupled with the Jabra Sound App are numerous features, which give me not only control, but the opportunity to customize my listening enjoyment to my own personal preferences. I am referring to the on-board, Apps' Music Equalizer. This Jabra Sound App can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play for Free. It has allowed me to adjust and manipulate the various sound frequencies as I see fit. I am an 'old-school' audiophile, and I believe this is the most significant and FUN feature the Jabra Elite 65e offers. Other brands of earbuds, if they offer any user-adjustments at all, focus on the mid ranges, and, or, may give you a choice of EQ presets - Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Classical. But, the Jabra engineers knew only too well that the heart and soul of the musical sounds we hear focuses on the 60 Hz to 4 KHz - 7 KHz range. So, they based their Music EQ App predominantly in those ranges. This is very unique for any headphones or earbuds to have an on-board EQ, which allows you to increase or decrease the loudness of that particular frequency range. Back in the day when we had analog music, the 'Smile' was the most common pattern used in a 50 Hz to 16 KHz range EQ, and, still is today. Now, I prefer more richer bass, especially in the lighter bass range of 200 Hz - 800 Hz range. So, my 'Smile' gets warped here as I set the range, 250 Hz, at a higher level (see my attached photo). For me increasing this range brings out the low end of acoustic guitars, deeper notes from vocalists, piano, and adds 'oomph' for robust tones, which I enjoy so much. You do not have to use this Jabra Sound App EQ. You can enjoy your music 'flat' with no EQ enhancements. Most earbuds are designed for the mid ranges anyway. But, once you actually take the time to use this App EQ with your ears, and finely tune your listening preferences - you will be 'hooked'. This significant feature alone turns your Jabra Elite 65e Earbud's listening enjoyment into'tasty' ear-candy. WooHoo! Call Clarity & Noise Cancellation: *Jabra Elite 65e uses 3-microphone call technology, which creates effective noise canceling insuring call clarity to a degree that's only found in high-end, more expensive earbuds. Using three separate microphones elevates the Jabra Elite 65e into a upper-end class all of its own. If you receive and make lots of calls you will really appreciate this feature. You can adjust your audio for Jabra Default, Enhanced Treble, and Enhanced Bass. You can also adjust the Sidetone, which enables you to hear your own voice through the microphones. How cool is that? The calls I made through my digital assistant, Siri, were amazingly clear. The folks on the receiving end said I was very distinct and audible, and sounded very near to them. At this time only Siri can be enabled as my voice assistant. Amazon Alexa is coming soon. @@@@@ Noise Cancellation is a two step process. First, it is very important to insure that Passive Noise Cancellation is in place with the proper fit of the correct size of EarGel and EarWings for your ears. There are three sizes of EarGel and EarWings from which to choose, small, medium, and large. A snug, but comfortable fit insures Passive Noise Cancellation. I used the large size EarGel and they are very efficient at blocking out most surrounding noise. Then, I was super amazed at the quality of Noise Cancellation using the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) control, which utilizes the three-microphones to effectively block ambient sound. There is a dedicated ANC / Hear Through button on the left side of the neckband to activate or deactivate the ANC, but you can also turn the ANC, ON or OFF, using the Jabra Sound App. I found that on my daily four mile walks it was better to allow surrounding noises by deactivating the ANC so I could be aware of auto traffic, etc. Comfort & Fit During Physical Activity: * The Jabra 65e is lightweight and comfortable to wear during most physical activities. What I really liked about the neckband is that it has a plastic body facing the back of my neck. Unlike other rubberized neckbands, which have irritated the back of my neck, this Jabra 65e is easy to wear while moving around and bouncing up and down. I would recommend this neckband for most physical activities, but not vigorous jogging or running. This is my own personal opinion, because neckbands, in general, have irritated my neck while I ran just wearing a T-Shirt. I have had to wear Polo-Styled shirts to prevent neck irritation. @@@@@ While wearing these earbuds I walked four miles each day, exercised at my fitness center for an hour every other day, worked in my yard and garden, and, of course, did routine, daily, household chores. They hold up well to perspiration and clean easily. However, I must note that these earbuds are only rated, IP54, which is the lowest water protection rating. They are not submersible or waterproof, but will take perspiration and a small splash. I wore them twice on my early morning walks while it was raining - no problem. Other Jabra Elite 65e Features: * Handy Carrying Case - Included. @@@@@ Three Sets of EarGels and EarWings - Included small, medium, and large. @@@@@ Battery - up to 8 hours of use with the ANC ON. Up to 13 hours with ANC OFF and volume at 50%. Two hour charge time. Battery Indicator at top of the Jabra Sound App. Can charge using the included USB cord to your computer or using your smart phone charger. @@@@@ Voice Guidance - You can turn this feature ON or OFF. @@@@@ Phone Calls - You can make and receive exceptionally clear phone calls using your digital assistant. Additionally, you can end phone calls letting your earbud magnets mate together. @@@@@ Two Year Warranty - Covers the lifespan of the device and dust and water damage. @@@@@ Bluetooth - Easy and fast connection using Bluetooth 5.0. Can connect two devices at once. Two IOS. Two Android, or, one IOS and one Android. I connect with an I-Phone SE and my wife connects with a Samsung Galaxy. @@@@@ Standby Time - Automatically shuts down after 15 minutes of B Bluetooth inactivity. @@@@@ Free Jabra Sound App - Download from Apple or Google Play Stores. This is a 'must' for enhancing your listening enjoyment and streamlining your earbuds controls. @@@@@ Vibration Neckband - When power is turned ON or OFF, and, or incoming phone calls. You can turn this feature OFF is desired. Recommendations: The sound quality, noise cancellation, and EQ ability to adjust and customize this Jabra Elite 65e to my own personal listening preferences is the most significant feature. YooHoo! Beforehand, I had to use a 3.5mm cable from my amp to my headphones to utilize an EQ for incredible sound. The adjustable voice clarity of phone calls is the second most outstanding feature. If you are busy and on the go, and make many phone calls - this one is for you. The two channel separation coupled with the nuances of gentle and prominent background sounds is spectacular. I love this Jabra Wireless Elite 65e Neckband. I highly recommend the purchase of this Jabra 65e for yourself, family member, friend, or that special graduate. You won't be disappointed.

I would recommend this to a friend
