After teen testing, this is the consensus. There is no problem with volume and they do cancel outside noise quite nicely. They worked great drowning out teen chatter while listening to my favorite musical or, more especially, hearing a book read to me. They charge quickly and the charge lasts a good while, at least for someone who isn't using them 24/7. Our charge lasted about 8 hours. They are pretty easy to use overall and quite comfortable as well. I like that I don't have wires running up from the phone. The earbuds were a good fit and are able to be customized. However, Bluetooth can be spotty though that may have more to do with are area or her phone. The mic works great and the there is crystal clear quality. Touch of a button gets you what you need. Definitely worth getting. In fact, I plan to get another set simply to avoid conflict by everyone wanting to use this set.

These are a decent pair of in ear headphones. They were easy to pair with my S9+. The thing I like most about these are they they are really comfortable and stay in place. I usually use over ear headphones because they have really good noise cancelling and sound. The problem I was having was that I like to work out and when I am doing exercises on my back, my headphones would not stay on my ears. These Jabra's always stay in place no matter what exercise I am doing. They also can be used for long periods of time without irritating my ears. The sound is pretty good. Good high's and mid's. The lows aren't the best but they get the job done. The noise cancelling is as good as it can get for in ear headphones. The battery life is pretty good and it does not take long to charge these. I probably charge them every other day. I never got the low battery message it just out of force of habit and they get about 1-1/2 to 2 hrs use a night. I would highly recommend these for people who like to run or have to do a lot of moving around.

These headphones had horrible sound quality. That was the biggest fallback. The fit wasn't the greatest either. I had to work to get them to stay in and I tried all sizes. I didn't expect much from the noise-canceling because they were buds, so I wasn't too disappointed. I expected more from a highly priced product also. Returned them for some Jaybirds.

    Unparalleled call quality, terrible design

    Posted .

    - Unbeatable inbound and outbound phone call quality in noisy or quiet conditions, much better than any other headset I've used (believe me, I've tried so many of them over the past 12 years and this is the only one that delivers excellent call quality, all others were utter garbage in this department) - Excellent ambient noise reduction / excellent active noise cancelation - Better than average sound quality for music - comfortable to wear for hours and stays in your ear, once you find the right sized ear tip for your ear - It can connect to two devices at once - construction is solid and materials appear durable Cons - Charges via terribly outdated Micro-USB instead of USB C - Charges very slowly - just okay battery life - design (not construction quality) is not intuitive or user friendly as, e.g LG headsets - Not very secure for jogging or very vigorous exercises unless you don't mind losing your precious headset - Pairing is not automatic and unintuitive Overall, if making phone calls is important to you then the performance of this headset is 10/10, but the design inferiority listed above still need to be addressed. I'm glad I got this headset as it's consistently excellent for making calls with very crisp and loud sound in every enviroment, every time, all the time and sounds even better than holding up the phone to my ear.

These were my first wireless noise-canceling in-ear headphones and for that reason, I didn’t have any experience with a similar device. I tried not to compare with an over the year type to be true to the audience target this was meant for. One feature that I really like is the neckband. Although I do like the ones with no wires, I never feel comfortable exercising with them. No matter how they swear they wouldn’t pop out of your ears, they do even if it’s just once in a while. The Jabra Elite 65e is less likely to happen in my experience so far and I do exercise at least once a day. To me, what really matters is comfort and sound quality. Comfort was not bad but I couldn’t stand using them for more than a couple of hours in my ears. This is a common problem for me and you may not experience it the way I do. As for sound quality, this will not disappoint many people, even audiophiles like me. Good base for this type of device. There were no statics with iPhone 7 Plus or iPad. Call quality, however, was a mixed experience. For me it was excellent but people at the other end complained about echo. I couldn’t figure out the right settings – if any – to fix that. Noise cancellation cannot be compared with an over- or on-the-year device. It does work and it is good for a walk or run in the park but for complete isolation from the world outside and comfort, I always find myself going back to over-the-year headphones. The main issue so far is the app for customization. It could be a lot better but to be fair, I have the same problem with apps for other brands such as Sony. Maybe the issue I had with phone calls could be easily fixed with the app if it was better designed. I would give five stars for sound quality, a.k.a. music, three for phone calls, noise canceling and comfort, and two for the app. I may be mistaken but all but one of the issues above may be fixed with a software update, especially considering that these headphones have 3 mics. I would easily change my rating to five stars when those fixable issues are addressed.

Man, these headphones are a force to be reckoned with! The fact that they have Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant included is AWESOME SAUCE times three! These features are necessary for me as I have devices that consume usage from all three. I love the build-quality, craftsmanship and overall design of these headphones. Initially, I thought that the neckband would be cumbersome, but it is not. I put them on for a brisk walk this morning and the fit and feel were dynamic. They produce great sound, as audio comes in clear and concise. Additionally, their noise-cancelling feature and calling feature are great too. Jabra has graciously included the intangibles that point to assured “usefulness” such as various sizes for ear wings, ear gels along with a carrying case. If you’re in the market for a nice pair of headphones with a bit of twist, (Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant) then give the Jabra Elite 65e’s a chance, I think you’ll be quite pleased!

    Not very good ANC

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought it for an upcoming trip to Asia. I have good experience with Jabra Elite Sport (truly wireless). It has good design and setup was easy. The sound quality and call quality are very good. Ear tips (S, M, L) are not as comfortable as I like, but tolerable. I figure I'll grow into them. The main issue, the reason for me to buy this, was the ANC. It didn't seem to be very effective. I tested on the car where there is constant noise, the kind of noise that's normally reduced by ANC. It worked but not as dramatic as I thought. My wife has an old Bose QC 20 for me to compare. It was a noticeable difference!! I then thought maybe plugged-in vs bluetooth is the problem. I then bought a Bose QC 30 for comparison. Sound quality (both music and call) wise, the Jabra is better. To my ears, the QC 30 is better in ANC and comfort (very nice eartips). I returned the Jabra 65e. Sound quality during a flight is not as important to me. The goal really is to reduce background noise so I can hear whatever I want at a reasonable volume. With ANC on, I kept the volume at 30-40% percent. With ANC off, I'd have to increase the volume to 70-80%, not very good for the ears for a 10+ hours flight. Comfort is also another important thing for a long flight. No matter how good the sound is, if it's not comfortable, then it's basically useless. I think this Jabra is good for its price if it fits your ears. The sounds is excellent. To my ears, it's just not as good as Bose for ANC.

Hello Bluenycom. Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you like the overall fit and feel for your Elite 65e. The ANC is always depended on the right fit of your headset. Every ear shape is different. The Elite 65e comes with 3 different sized ear-gels and ear-wings. Often one has to try different size scenarios to achieve the ultimate fit for noise cancellation. I could be biased because I am still not used to the type of wireless headphones that rest on your ears. Seeing as how the other kind doesn't stay in my ears when I jog, I figured I would try these. The price is reasonable and the quality is good, both sound and design. The app is user-friendly, not complicated or confusing at all, and the preset sound options fit well with my workout. I can make calls without having to stop working out with the voice assistant. I don't know if I have small ears or something, but even with the replaceable ear gels, I find it hard to keep the buds in my ear. The neck rest saves me from having to pick them up off the ground and reduces the risk of breaking.
