Great Buds! Case is just OK.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: * Sound great! * Work great for phone calls/voice assistants. * Fit snugly and don’t fall out. * Solid wireless connection. * Great battery life (5hrs plus 2 full recharges in the case). * Compact carrying case. Cons: * Case is not easy to open - especially one-handed. * Battery status indicators for buds and case are not clear. * Buds easily fall out of case when the lid is open. Ok - so the pros listed above are crucial to wireless earbuds and the cons are really just minor complaints, but what good is a product review if both the good and bad weren’t mentioned? These buds have it where it counts in sound quality, fit and battery life. Rather than compare them to other brands and models, I’ll just say that I really like these buds. So far, the audio has been rock-solid and any disconnection was due to major wireless interference nearby or my phone just being too far away; the same reasons for disconnection with any Bluetooth earbuds. The case is nice and compact, but that is the only really good thing I can say about it. Firstly, the lid is impossible to open one-handed by attempting to flick the lid open with a finger. Even when holding the case with one hand and opening with the other hand, the lid is really tough to open without accidentally flinging the buds onto the floor. A magnetic clasp would probably have worked better than the typical friction tab. Once the lid is open, the buds rest precariously in their holes on top of springy pogo-pins. A slight tip of the case will send them tumbling to the floor - so be careful. Perhaps a deeper hole or magnets would have held them in the case a little better. The second thing I don’t really love about the case is the way it shows the battery status. When you open the lid to the case, there is a small LED between the buds that shows the battery status of the pair of buds by color. This LED has a few issues; those who cannot discern color or can’t see the color in bright light will be at a loss. This LED also stays on for only about 3 seconds so if you miss it, you’re out of luck until you can check their status elsewhere (phone’s status bar or bud feedback when inserted in your ears). The case also has another LED to indicate how much of a recharge it can give the buds (their extra 2 recharges). Same issues as the inside status indicator (color, brightness and short duration) but the case’s LED is on the bottom edge so you have to close the lid and quickly flip the case over to see the light which is, again, only on for about 3 seconds. These case issues are really minor nits because the buds themselves sound, fit and work great and the case is merely a “bonus.” I would definitely not disregard these buds just because of some small design issues with the case, but if Jabra were to improve the case just a bit, these buds would get 5 stars.

2nd time is a charm...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these originally and they had some spotty connectivity issues, was a real problem. Static and dropping audio continually. I returned them and was about to start looking at other manufacturers for something else (Bose Maybe?). I eventually decided to get another set of these instead. The second set appear to be working great as compared to the first set. If you get a set that are malfunctioning in any way ask for a return and get another set. It helped in my case and I am happy with them now. Great sound with calls and listening to music on my iPhone 7 Plus. However, connecting to a PC over bluetooth for Skype or Microsoft Teams may be a bit of a challenge as call quality is not the greatest at all. This is to be understood though, because they are not certified to be used in this manner. Jabra does make the "Evolve 65t" model for this that just showed up on their site. ($329 currently and back ordered). The "Evolve 65t" is supposedly certified for Skype for Business. Otherwise, connecting to a PC for listening to music works great. I love the passive noise isolation. Batter life is great and I like not having wires dangling off my neck. They also stay in my ears just fine when on the treadmill. Also, don't forget to install the "Sound+" application on your mobile device and perform any firmware updates. Mine needed firmware updates right out of the box. I would imagine most of them do.

Great product at a great price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just picked these up yesterday but already really like them. They fit in my ears just fine and are not uncomfortable at all. The sound is good for music and videos. Set up was super easy and they connected almost as soon as I opened them. Only two issues I have had so far are 1) when using the phone the sound is a little muffled. I will check out alternate settings to see if that improves. 2) if you need to be able to hear what is going on around you, these won’t let you do that. I couldn’t hear my wife talking to me in the chair next to me. In some situations that would be great but not always. Otherwise these have been worth the investment. I’d recommend them for sure.

Great Noise-Canceling Earbuds with Some Caveats
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These exceptional earbuds offer remarkable noise cancellation capabilities, allowing you to effortlessly handle incoming and outgoing calls while effectively blocking out external distractions. This grants you the freedom to multitask without the need to physically hold your phone to your ear. The noise-canceling feature is so impressive that I often use just one earbud to remain aware of my surroundings. Furthermore, they are easy to maintain in a clean condition. However, there are a few drawbacks to these earbuds: • They have a tendency to dislodge from your ear when moisture is present in your concha, the part of your ear where the buds fit snugly. • The Bluetooth connection range can be limited, requiring you to stay relatively close to your paired device to maintain a stable connection. • The charging case lacks durability, especially when it falls to the ground. After a few falls, my case no longer closes properly, making it difficult to charge the earbuds. While I initially used tape to address this issue, it has led to the earbuds connecting to all of my Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Despite these downsides, I am quite fond of these earbuds and would certainly recommend them. I have not tested them during exercise, as I am concerned they may slip out due to sweat.

Great wireless headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked these wireless headphones. They are comfortable and the sound quality is fantastic. I was also extremely impressed with the battery life on these. I have had pairs in the past that needed constant charging. These held their charge for a lengthy amount of time. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

A great upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll preface this review by saying I have never been a fan of Bluetooth quality. I picked these up to replace a pair of Jaybird Freedom Sprints that bit the dust. They were always train headphones. I was never a fan of the amount of Bluetooth compression, but they got the job done. The second I got home, traditional (But more annoying) 3.5mm headphones were standard. Over the past week and a half, the Elite 65t headphones have become my go-to set for both music and calls, second only to my studio cans and DAC/Amp. The AAC compression, while not the "HD Audio" they tout, is the best Bluetooth experience I've ever had. 95% of the time I'd never know I did not have a hard-line into my phone. The fit is nice, but not the best. They sit "semi-secure" in my ears. I usually have to fiddle with one or the other every few minutes to get it seated just a little better. A minor inconvenience, but not a deal-breaker by any means. The charging case is very nice and feels very well put-together. My only complaint would be that it's TOO well put-together and sometimes is a bit challenging to open. It's getting a bit better over time, though. The call quality is great from my perspective, and I haven't heard the constant "Hey, I can barely hear you"s I used to get when trying to use the Jaybirds to make calls. All-in-all, I'm very happy with my purchase. They're not perfect, but I'd absolutely pick these again given the choice. Pros: - Great sound quality - Very convenient - Long battery life Neutral: - Fit could be a bit better Cons: - Case can be tough to open sometimes - I still get the occasional compression crackles I always hear in Bluetooth audio (I blame Bluetooth, not these headphones)

My new Go To earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these earbuds! These are my new go to after trying several different ones and either the buds didn’t fit right or connectivity issues. Pros: I have small ears and after switching from medium to small it fit perfect. No need to worry about them falling out especially while working since I work in Sanitation and can’t have my hands constantly adjusting them. I actually prefer the press down instead of tap that way I can actually tell what action will take place. Really enjoy the sound coming from these earbuds. Its got good bass and after customizing the sound on the app its great. The hear-through feature helps quite a bit as well. Also no connectivity issues.

Perfect for calls & listening to music
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent connection to phone for conference calls, no cut out issues and good voice pick up. Limited nose canceling of background noises in mic. Good sound quality / fit and battery life. Both are active during calls vs Bose that only connects right. Fewer software bugs than Bose as well, no issues with Skype, FaceTime or other

Great Quality Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite 65t are some fantastic earbuds. For being truly wireless, sound quality is very good. Bass is punchy, and mids and highs are not drowned out. Of course they won't sound as good as wired earbuds or headphones, but they are most certainly very respectable. Build quality is good, although I would've liked to seen something bit strong than plastic. With that being said, the plastic give it a light-weight feel and makes it so they aren't bothersome after some time in your ear. They don't stick out on your face as prominently as say AirPods, but if you have a small head, they stick outwards from your ear. The physical buttons on the side aren't hard to press, but do put pressure on your ears while they're in; would've liked to see maybe some touch controls. The charging case that the earbuds come in is slippery and not as easy to open as I was expecting. The charging case "locks" into place and takes some force to open; with it being slippery, this is not so easy. Battery life is very respectable as well. The earbuds have a rated time of 5hrs, with the charging case providing two full charges. I haven't been able to test this to that specific time, but they've gone as long as a week without me having to charge them. The sound-through feature is a nice and welcome addition to the rather simple app.

Great all around wireless earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market to buy wireless earbuds with a great microphone so it's primary purpose would be for making phone calls. In that regard, it excels. Phone audio is clear and these earbuds make for great private listening or workout earbuds. In the months I've owned this product the audio was NEVER choppy or laggy. Despite their bulky appearance they fit in your ear quite comfortably, though I wouldn't advise wearing them for prolonged periods of time as they can begin to irritate your ears after 3-4 hours of continuous use. Which is the approximate battery life on them anyway so it kind of works out. Downloading the optional app gives you a lot of access to different customization options so you can get the most out of your audio experience. Overall, for a premium set of wireless earbuds they definitely do a great job! I do however have a few issues, albeit very minor issues. For one, the way the earbuds are designed the right earbud is the primary earbud while the left acts only as a support. Meaning that if you lose the right earbud, or it runs out of battery. You're out an entire set of earbuds until it's found or charged. For most people this won't really be an issue, but if you're forgetful and clumsy like I tend to be it could be a little more problematic. Another issue has to do with the earbuds' "Hear through" feature. Which as the name implies, allows the user to hear what's going on around them clearly without needing to remove the earbuds. The sound immersion is fantastic so I can see the reason for needing something like this but I found I never really used it because even if you turn on the feature, it deactivates when you turn on any kind of media and resumes when it's turned off or paused. Which doesn't really make that much sense when you can simply remove one of the earbuds from your ear and it'll automatically pause whatever media is playing so you can hear what's going on around you anyway. Ultimately achieving the same goal. Finally, the automatic Bluetooth connection can be a bit finicky. Sometimes needing to pop the earbuds out and back into the case, needing to close the case and open it again to retry the connection. I'm more than confident it has to do more with the connection itself and not the earbuds but I thought I'd give it a mention. Ultimately, this is a great buy, but I'd wait for a sale first if you want to pick these up.

Great choice if you want to go Wireless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can say I am pleased with my purchased. The sound quality of these earbuds are great once you get them fitted into your ears properly. It comes with three size earpieces so be careful not to put ones that are too small because you won't make a good seal and the sound quality will diminish drastically. If you're not used to shoving something in your ear for hours it will take some time to get used to but once you get used to them you can have them for hours. I love the pass-through feature that allows you to also be aware of your surroundings I feel that this is a must and is why I chose these. Battery life is excellent and while I don't think you'll get 15 hours between the earbuds and the charger you still will get many hours of enjoyment without having to recharge the case. Taking calls with these is amazing as the clarity is unmatched by anything else I've had because people don't even know I'm using them and you get the added bonus of hearing your caller in stereo sound when using both ear buds. I highly recommend these because the quality of the sound, functionality and versatility is worth what I paid for when I got them during the Black Friday sale paying $120.00.

Great bud for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.IMO these are great buds. They give you a little bit of everything for a good price. The case is not bulky and can easily be pocketed. The buds give off good bass but the highs are sort of lacking. You get 5hrs of battery life and an additional 10 hrs. from the case which I don't think is bad at all. I like that the app comes with a 5 band EQ that allows you to customize. I also like the hear-through feature. Overall it's a good buy for those not willing to for buds priced at/above $300.

Great fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially had the Jaybird X3's, and returned those to go totally wireless. Also the Jaybirds were not comfortable for me. The Jabra Elite 65t fit great, and are comfortable for extended use. Battery like is great. Sounds quality is ok. They aren't bass heavy, but Jabra has an app and you can adjust the equalizer settings. These headphones will fit securely in your ear so you don't have to worry about them falling out. I use them for walking, running and bike riding. All and all a good value, and the latest update adds Alexa!

Well balanced sound and great value!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a person who doesn’t mind being 1 generation back from the current tech out. So when I was unhappy with a previous wireless set I had purchased and wanted something different, I was surprised to see this set priced under $100 (because of the release of the Elite 75t). When I had seen the reviews and tech spec videos on this set, I purchased immediately knowing I was getting a quality product. I’ve had this set now for 3 weeks, and it’s been a pure delight. The set I purchased was titanium in color and is easy on the eyes. The pairing was as simple as opening the headset and accepting it in the Bluetooth settings on my phone. The Jabra “Sound +” app is a great and comprehensive tool to use with these buds that includes equalizer software, a search tool if you’ve misplaced them (shows last location since paired, it’s helped me once already. Wish it could play a tone through buds, though), allows you to utilize settings for your buds, such as the Hearthrough feature. Sounds are clear, crisp, and Bass is well balanced through all genres (I listen to everything from Hip Hop, R&B, Alternative, Jazz, Gospel and Contemporary Christian, Country, and classical.) I was surprised at how well the bass responds for hip hop and Jazz, while the clarity of miss and highs were still well separated and distinguished. The HearThrough feature mentioned above is great, because while these buds hold tight to your ear with a great deal for sound quality, they do drown out outside noise. With this feature, it uses the four mics built in to allow outside noise to pass through. When walking my dog or going for a run you can hear the world around you. In the gym, I can turn this feature off and drown it out. It’s wonderful. When the 75t’s go on sale, I’ll be upgrading to those. Jabra has sold me on this product, for sure.

Better than the rest.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying a few other brands, I found my self staying with these. While they aren’t perfect they seemed to be the best to me. Some concerns I had before ultimately picking these up where that they would fall out of my ears and they didn’t look nearly as good as the jaybirds. Unlike my jaybirds, they don’t have fins/wings. Later I found out are pretty much not needed. They fit perfect for me and stay in fine without them. Switching between a call and music is easy. Unlike others the call audio is played through both earbuds. A neat feature I like on these is where with a simple double tap of the right earbud, you can play outside noise through them. This allows me to not have to remove them when I need to talk to people at work. Then just another double tap and I’m on my way. Now this isn’t perfect, as it could play the outside audio a little bit louder, or allow you to adjust it. Seems to be set at a point where a little more is desired. (Doesn’t play as loud as it can play music) Maybe that will come with an update. Another thing I like compared to my jaybirds is that they seem to be a decent amount louder in general. The jaybirds just weren’t cutting it. These are loud enough for me to hear music and calls fine at work while I’m in machines at work. Even thought they are louder, I’d be happier if they could play just a bit higher as some times you really just want to Jam out. Another plus for these is that they are much smaller than most others, and especially the Bose. The buttons and controls on them are also much easier to use and don’t cause you to push them out of your ear or force them into your ear and cause discomfort. Some things I liked on other brands that these don’t have, but aren’t necessarily a problem: The earbuds don’t have a earwax guard to help block out anything that may get into the hole of the headphone. The jaybirds had this. I don’t seem to have any issues as my ears don’t seem to produce much. Maybe others will. Another thing is that the case doesn’t magnetically hold in the earbuds. So upon opening the lid you have to be careful as you may drop them or have the chance to lose them easier. Some things I really like: The app it comes with is really nice. You can adjust the eq, change call settings, adjust how much the mic picks up and so much more. On top of this, if you are doing work or say want to have some relaxing or soothing sounds, there are preloaded sounds on the app. The headphones also announce who’s calling you. The Bluetooth 5.0 seems to really make a difference as there is minimal to near no drops In connection or hiccups compared to others I’ve tried. Also the sound quality is near if not just as good as the Bose headphones. For me, these where a brand I’ve never heard of which kept me away. Happened to not quite like others Ive owned so I went for these. Definitely the better choice in the end.

Jabra Elite 65t Earbuds are Excellent!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently my over-the-ear bluetooth headphones stopped working. So, I started looking into what options were available to replace them. I wanted bluetooth headphones to work with my Android phone and tablet (tablet doesn't have a headphone jack). I wanted the headphones to be comfortable for extended periods of use. I wanted the audio quality to be noticeable to someone like me who isn't an audiophile. I wanted to use the headphones in phone conversations. So, the microphone needed to be great. I wanted to use the headphones to watch videos on my phone or tablet. So, there shouldn't be noticeable lag with the video and audio. I did quite a bit of research into the different options, and I decided that it would be nice to splurge a bit on a set of true wireless earbuds. The Jabra Elite 65t True Wireless Earbuds have exceeded my expectations. I use them everyday at work to listen to music and answer calls on my phone, and I have been very impressed by the audio quality from the earbuds speakers. The Jabra app allows you to set a listening profile, and the Bass Boost really gives the music that extra oomph, but again I'm not an audiophile. Syncing with my Android phone, Android tablet, and Macbook was painless. The Jabra Elite 65t Earbuds can pair with two devices at once. So, I can be watching a video on my laptop or tablet (with no audio lag) and receive a call from my phone. The default eargels that ship with the Jabra Elites fit my ears perfectly creating a seal that isolates the audio to your ears while creating passive noise cancelation, and they are comfortable. How long the battery on the earbuds and charging case will last you depends on your usage, but I usually only need to charge the earbuds and case twice a week for my needs. I can honestly recommend the Jabra Elite 65t True Wireless Earbuds for anyone in the market for true wireless headphones!

Lots to recommend
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't planning on buying the Jabra Elite 65T. I had been looking forward to the release of the Google Pixel Buds 2 and eagerly bought them. The fact I'm reviewing the Jabra tells you how that worked out. The Jabra's design doesn't compare to the Pixel Buds. These are bigger, clunkier and less aesthetically pleasing (and this includes the case). However, in every other department the Jabra are superior. And I got the 65T for almost half the price at Best Buy. 1. Sound on the Pixel Buds dropped out randomly and repeatedly when outside. And there was no way to turn the buds on and off, which was the downside of the streamlined design. No buttons on the buds so you need the case to reboot. I've only had the Jabra two days, but I've walked around the same neighborhood of NYC with almost no glitches. But the clincher is I have the option of turning the buds on and off with a simple press of the buttons. Some reviews have mentioned that pressing the buttons (as opposed to gliding your finger across the surface of the Bud) creates pressure on the ear. And it does. Momentarily. But it's the price you pay for effective control of the device. 2. The other reason I returned the Buds is that I was getting complaints that I sounded muffled on calls. And every external sound competed with my voice. If I didn't stand perfectly still while talking, I'd get complaints. I'm not having that problem with the Jabra. Callers report that I sound better than on my phone, and I'm hearing then clearly as well. And at a moderate volume. The Pixel Buds required top volume for the same level of sound. 3. A few bonuses I wasn't expecting: I read reviews saying that the Jabra didn't have a "Find bud" feature, which was almost a dealbreaker for me. But glad it wasn't, because the Jabra app does in fact have that feature. Also saw reviews saying you can't get accurate battery level. However, the case has green, yellow and red lights, representing full, mid and empty, and the exact percentage of battery use is readily visible on the app. Lastly, I use the Pocket app a lot for listening to newspaper articles. I couldn't skip forward or back between articles using the Buds (had to use the app on the phone). But the Jabra had no problem working with the app. This last example is obviously a very small detail, but I wonder how many other apps don't play well with the Buds. I don't love the size or the color of the Jabra Elite 65T. (I chose copper but I would have liked white, because they're easier to see.) I don't like that the buds fill up the ear more than the PIxel Buds (though that's probably why the sound level is better). And music sounded a little more vibrant on the Pixel Buds, despite equalizer on the Jabra app. Otherwise, the Jabra is a better device. And the fact that it has a 2-year warranty, suggests Jabra is confident about the workmanship and production. My only remaining question is regarding EMF (electromagnetic field) exposure, which is a potential problem for any wireless device and the manufacturers should be sharing (or required to share) amount of transmission.

Love these earbuds
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First pair of earbuds that I've owned. Did a bunch of research and kept coming back to these. Have not been disappointed. Sound is great. Fit is excellent and they are easy to control and pair. Charging is easy and they seem to hold a charge for a long period of time. My only gripe is that the case is a little hard to get into, but that is minor. Overall these are very good.

Good so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had these for about two months and use them regularly. I previously had Bose but wanted to make the switch to true wireless without paying $250 for the Bose. Over all the quality is excellent. I use them almost daily for working out(weight lifting and running). They stay in my ears very well. The equalizer inside the app works pretty good and allows for customization. The hard case stays closed and doesn’t open too easily so your ear buds will stay secured. I haven’t had any issues with connecting them. By the time I have the first ear bud in, they have already connected to my phone(iPhone). I would definitely recommend these for somebody looking at true wireless ear buds without wanting to pay the high price of Bose or Beats. I don’t usually give products five stars so 4 is all Jabra is going to get from me.

Elite 65t's, Truly are Elite!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had purchased the True Evo's by Altec Lansing and was impressed by the sound signature...however after extended periods of use, i had semi to major discomfort in my ears - due to the buds being so big (footprint on those are on the bigger side) . Was bittersweet because i Really enjoyed the sound produced by those buds but i had to get something that checked all the marks for me and i feel may have found just that with the Elite 65t's. I am really enjoying the smaller size the color scheme, the fit and the sound is good (not as good as the True Evo's sadly but good nonetheless) - i look forward to having these and quite possibly expecting the better version (hopefully in sound stage) from Jabra - thumbs up
